It's prettier, (and sadly more pompous and ostentatious), if you use a tilde.

Seykxel sì nitram, ma Itan aTxur

Been very busy this week, or else I would have posted sooner.

Ah, a cat person. Good for you! Since you have lion and tiger listed in your top three animals, I will hope that you will someday get a chance to see a liger up close. That will become one of your top three cats! (Today, our liger spent two hours in the water, playing with her toys there, to the delight of the big crowds we had.)

I see you listed Apollo 13 among your favorite films. This film is quite interesting because it is one of the few space films that is technically accurate.

For your N/T questions:

1. N - Working in television, I can easily believe this. I have worked TV many college football games, but only one pro
football game. (Look in your library for a book called 'TV on wheels'. About 1 in 10 pictures in this book I took while
    working remotes.)
2. N - I am going to break with others here and say this really happened. If the concrete had a latent spalling problem
going on, the force of being hit (most likely at an angle) would expend itself breaking the already weakened concrete
loose. Since the concrete came loose under this force, there was little force left to damage the vehicle.
3. T - While still very possible, I think this is a 'dream football' contrivance.

Irayo ma tsmukan :) I look forward to someday seeing a Liger!

And the accuracy of Apollo 13 is a major reason I like it as much as I do. It allows me to experience something that was well before my time w/o breaking the laws of physics and taking me out of the movie.

Congratulations ;D

Apollo 13 is a great film... I've watched it a few times.

As for guessing, I'd guess Ng/Ng/Ts.

Well it's been a fun week! I'm going to lock up now.

Only Swoka Ikran guessed the T/F correctly! And he was the first to guess so I thought I'd made them too easy! The answers were as follows:

1)   Sal Paolantonio’s (ESPN reporter) daughter stayed at our place for two weeks while campaigning for Howard Dean and convinced her dad to let my brother and I work for him during the Titans vs Patriots home playoff game meaning we’d be on the sidelines during the game.
False. Everything here did happen, but by the time she finally got around to asking him, he'd only just found an assistant and didn't need anymore help.

2)   I once lost control of one of my remote controlled trucks slamming it into a cement wall at 40 mph. The truck took no damage while the wall lost a large chunk and had a huge tire mark on it.
False. There was a slight crack in my bumper and I completely shattered my front differential. The cement wall took just about as much damage though :)

3)   While playing football I once made a dramatic one handed catch essentially behind my back while it tight double coverage as I was in the process of being tackled on the sideline.
True. I was being covered by my very tallented brother and a far less than average friend (who was in this case playing shockingly well and was in the exact right position on this particular play) but my Dad in an uncharacteristically aggressive move threw me a perfectly placed laser to my back right side which was the only side uncovered. It lead to a touchdown but we still lost in a well played, hard fought game.

I totally wish I could nominate more people. There are so many awesome members on this forum I feel bad having only been able to choose one!! That being said, the next NotW has contacted me and confirmed that they are ready and willing to be NotW, but said NotW could be about a day or so late posting :)

Thank you all again!
