Who are you?

I am a female, first year college student in Arizona studying Anthropology ad Psychology as a double major with a minor in Criminal Justice.  Iiiiiii am very big into music, I play sousaphone for my marching band and I have played cello for 10 years and double bass for 6.  I also own an alto sax, flute, trumpet and keyboard.

Lets see...I took three years of French in high school but dropped it because my last teacher was kind of  jerk to me.  I plan on taking Latin next year as my foreign language requirement.  I play D&D/pathfinder six nights a week and I RP on facebook (12 accounts ) as well as a few other sites.  My current obsession and the passion of my life is Once Upon a Time and more specifically, Robert Carlyle.

Why are you here?

I am a person who gets easily obsessive with actors.  I watch BONES religiously and I saw the episode where Sweets and Fischer were all over hanging out for the AVATAR premier.  Then i found out Joel David Moore was actually in Avatar, which made it funnier and I had to see it.

I have to admit, i really just fell in love with all of it.  The nature, the animals, the language of course.  It took about a week before I was board on the internet and found this site.

Where do your alias and profile pic come from?

My Na'vi name is one that took a few days to come up with.  it was still a pretty limited dictionary when I first started up (and I've been told many times since then that my name is wrong :/ )  But it is a loose translation of "One who Walks and with the Dead"

That is literally the expanse of my memorized Na'vi...  And I can say Norm's first line when he meets grace but i can't actually spell any of it.  I have been away fromt he game a little too long and need to get back into the swing of things and start learning again :/

What's you favorite Na'vi word? Did you incorporate it (or others) into your everyday vocab?

Do say, my favorite is Kaltxi, mostly because I get weird looks from my friends.  Meaning wise, I love Kerusey.

In your opinion, what are the top three user-created content on the LN website?

I loooooved the little workbook that was put together and of course PNN is absolutely fantastic!  My next favorite (although it randomly decides to turn on and screw with me) would me Tirea's keyboard.

Have you made any contributions to the LN community that you're particularly proud of?

Unfortunately not :/  I've been a large part of the RL tribe on and off...

What is it that you liked/hated the most about Avatar ?

I've seen it a few times.  I was given a copy by my ex but then it got stolen :'/  I loved the effects of the movie and how it all came together and you really couldn't tell whee the effects began and when they ended.

Has Avatar  changed your life in any way?

I've been photoshopped  I was a na'vi to the last convention I went to.  It's changed my life int he sense that I feel like a better person for watching it and attempting to learn but in all honestly, I tried to live my life as a naturalist before the movie came out.

If you could ask Frommer or Cameron three movie or language related questions what would they be?

What else do you do in you free time?

*giggles*  As mentioned above, I play D&D 3.0/3.5 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.  I play Pathfinder on Thursday, D&D 4e on Wednesday and Don't Rest Your Head on Saturdays.  My time is very much filled up pretending to be someone else.  I am also on the computer 20/7 either on one of my dozen facebook accounts or a proboards.  I am currently working on my new Halloween costume also!  I review TV shows for a friend's blog (currently reviewing The Voice, The Finder, BONES, New Girl and Glee).

Name your top three favorite Earth animals from most favorite to least. Why those? What's the animal you're most terrified of?

 let me start by saying there isn't any animal I'm afraid of.  There are many fearsom animals I respect and wouldn't screw with but none that I fear (except the Easter Bunny but i doubt that counts).  As far as my favorite animal, it is constantly changing but right now it's a Puma.  After that would probably be a horse then sharks.

What three items would you take to a desert island and why?

Robert Carlyle (does that even count?) to keep me company and just talk to me...Nummy Scottish men <3.
I would also take my longbow and arrows (if those count as one item) for obvious reasons and then probably...my blanket.  Because I'd be honestly lost without it.

If you could travel to anywhere in space and time (including fictional universes), where would you go and why?

Right now, Storybook Lane.  But thats mostly because the crazy obsession is so strong <3

What is my deal with becoming so obsessive?  Why am I constaintly throwing myself into things only to turn aroudn and find something else a month later?
My answer would be one nearly impossible to understand because at that point, I would just say random things to make myself happy.

I have been scuba diving in the Caribbean where I was able to pet and hang out with a nurse shark.
I have taken a helicopter over the Grand Canyon, landing afterward and rafting down the Colorado River.

What is the funniest, weirdest, or most embarrassing Na'vi or Avatar  related thing that has happened to you?

Honestly, I think my personality is so diverse that there isn't a single role that I fit in any fiction I've seen or read.  I would describe myself personally as an odd mixture odd Willow Rosenburg, Anya Jenkins, Whitestorm, Holly Marten and Ariel.

Nice to see you here. Do you still intend to create Na'vi dubbing of Lion king? Well, I must sadly admit that I didn't do any translation for a long time, but still hope that early I will continue. it is good project.

It is always an interesting exercise to try and draw similarities with the NoTW recipients. In your case though, I truly have to say you are a unique individual with a interestingly eclectic set of interests and avocations!

If you are on line in the FRP games and all those Facebook aliases, where do you find time to eat, sleep and study?

Good choice of Puma (cougar, mountain lion, etc.) as a favorite animal! Have you ever heard a puma purr, or touch one (which generally makes them purr!)? If you ever get the chance to do this, don't say no. You will be richly rewarded!

I am going to guess Ngay/Tsleng/Ngay on your N/T questions. Ngay on the first, because you like sharks, and preapred people are able to sucessfully do this. Tsleng on the second one just because I think one of these needs to be Tsleng, and this is the most logical one. Ngay on the third because music is your passion, and musicians are known to do that.

I forget if it was you who was trying to organize the Lion KIng radio play. But I have not forgotten, and still practice the audition I am supposed to send you.

Most of you seemed to get them right!  The first was false, it's a desire I have but can't get around to doing (student going to the Caribbean...YEA RIGHT!)  It was partially tru,e I am SCUBA certified and I hung with an eel off the cost of California.

The second two are true.  The second was a Christmas present with from my mother and it was a BLAST!  The last is true as well, I have attempted/ am in the process of writing three musicals, one comedy AVPM style musical about Once Upon a Time, one Non-Canon musical based off concepts from the Warrior Cats books and one Completely Original.

i was the one doing the TLK things.  I recently found a program that I can work with video and audio separately and together so that should make it a TON easier...now I just need the translations and voice actors!!

Oh, still interested, great! I promise I (at least) try to continue on translations. I'd like also offer my voice, but.. hmm, I'm not sure if I'm good at Na'vi pronunciation. But this project is worth to complete it. We should do it!
