Hello friends!
When I saw this thread first time, I was thinking that it is truly not possible to find my words in this place. Now I know this thought was incorect.
I apologise for writing this mainly in English instead of Na'vi. Wish I had more time for it.

Quote from: Question #1Who are you?
Hello everyone!
My name is Petr Kopeček, in English Peter "Little hill", and I live in Újezd u Brna, which is a village near to Brno, in Czech republic, more specifically - central Europe. Yes, it is very close to Blue Elf's place, in Na'vi terms we are living "almost on the next tree".
I am 37 years old, so I belong to the elderly people here, but I doesn't think about this number as "middle age", "being old" or something similar. For me it is just a number without dimensions, and I am surprised every year that it constantly grows.
Right from the childhood I was interested in electronics and computers, then there is no surprise that I still work with them, being sure that everyone else can trust to all the little spiteful demons inside those gray rectangular boxes.
This is also related to my ability to communicate in English. I absorbed this language through the years, exactly same way that Ngaynume strives for in Na'vi. I am completely untouched by theory and grammar, which is in contrast to French and Russian I was actively interested for during some years in the past. Unfortunately, all unused knowledges fade of very quickly, so I cannot count on them anymore.

Quote from: Question #2Why are you here?
Like many of you, in the winter 2009 i noticed a new sci-fi movie that was scheduled to hit the cinemas. At this point it was just another movie that could be interesting, and I thought Yes, this is definitely worth to see. But I don't dug deeper for any details, so two months later, I was sitting in front of the screen until the last lines of the final credits dissapeared, absolutely overloaded with impressions. Not only about 3D and visual effects, but something in the movie just resonated with my own philosophy and ignited my interest. James Cameron really don't had to spend lots of effort, because i was virtually already looking to the Earth from distance of light years.
From that moment, I visited Pandora five more times through 3D glasses, and my search for all available background information about Na'vi just begun.
I found some information about language and started to learn. It was not "learning" as we understand this term, but I was just curious and wanted to know more. Then I landed on learnnavi.org, and this was my "point of no return". Now I am trying to be on the forum at least few minutes a day. However there are days I spend totally offline, along with those when I can be here several hours continuously.

Quote from: Question #3Where do your alias and profile pic come from?
As some of you already suspects, I have a close relationship with stars. Although I don't know their names, I am more than able to spend two hours traveling to the middle of the dark forest, lay down and just look at them.
The ability to flight without engines, only with my own muscles, is one of my oldest wishes that clearly will remain unfulfilled, and from spring 2010, ikran became my most favorite creature. So the making of my symbolic picture was pretty straightforward.
My Na'vi name took significantly more time, because I wanted a "real" name, not similar to any other existing word. I even thought about probability of latter accidental creation of the same word by Karyu Pawl. The process was simple - I choosed several words which I like or they are somewhat significant to me, wrote them to paper and tried to re-combine syllables and/or letters to create something new.

Quote from: Question #4Srak nga tsun nìna'vi pivlltxe?
Fte piveng tìngayit, mi oe ke tsängun pivlltxe nìNa'vi nìltsan. Hufwa oe pamrel seri, tìng nari pamrelur, ulte keng plltxe nì'it, wätx oel futa stawm sì tslam aylì'ut apawneng.
Pelun oel nerume fìlì'fyat? Taluna new oel futa 'it kifkeyä Eywa'evengä slayu hapxì oeyä, nìteng oe new slivu hapxì tsakifkeyä. Taluna tsun oe fwivew fpìlfyati Na'viyä fa lì'fya leNa'vi, ulte taluna prrte' lu oeru fwa lora fìlì'fyal smeykeron oer ayngati, ma oeyä eylan.
-
To be honest, I still don't speak Na'vi well. Although I am writing, reading, and even speaking a little, the listening and understanding to spoken words are the things I do badly.
Why I learn this language? Because I want a little from Pandoran world to become a part of me, as well I want me to be part of Pandora. Because I am looking for Na'vi way of thinking through their language, and because I am pleased that this beautiful language makes me to know you, my friends.

Quote from: Question #5What's you favorite Na'vi word? Did you incorporate it (or others) into your everyday vocab?
I don't have a single word I like most. There are some of them I like a little more to others, they even incorporate different phonetics, so one cannot say that I like some specific sound of language. For example, meoauniaea, atxkxe, srane, atokirina, even lì'fya leNa'vi itself. All of Na'vi words are really beautiful.

Quote from: Question #6In your opinion, what are the top three user-created content on the LN website?
On the top of them is undoubtedly The Dictionary, created by Taronyu, and now maintained by Markì sì Tirea Aean. Not only dictionary itself, but also the huge underground - database, translation and export mechanisms created by Tuiq.

In the second place I want to mention Horen leNa'vi, a complete resource about grammar, by wm.annis. It is very carefully and thoroughly maintained, so we can rely on this if any other resource fails to provide required answers to our questions.

The third place belongs to forum itself. Is it a unique place where the various thoughts and creations are born, to where all people come to share their ideas, questions, and even doubts.

I apologize to all other great creations and their respective authors, because there is a lot of another interesting resources, but these three I mentioned stand a little before any others.

Quote from: Question #7Have you made any contributions to the LN community that you're particularly proud of?
I am not aware of anything worth to notice. I only wrote a few words nìNa'vi, and taking little care of czech version of dictionary and grammar.
Currently I am really pleased with every little Na'vi related thing I can contribute with. Because my interest in both language and Na'vi in general grows slowly but surely, there still remains a hope that I will add something more significant in the future.

Quote from: Question #8What is it that you liked/hated the most about Avatar ?
My impression from the movie as a whole is very positive, but there are details and moments particularly favored to me, and one scene on which I was really aghast.
It is the scene when Neytiri, after killing Quaritch, jumped inside the "shack" alias "mobile link unit", and saved Jake by putting him the mask on. But in that moment was Jake already dead, as he exhaled his last breath many seconds before. In the real life it would be a very bad end of the story.
But this was only one such moment. The rest of entire movie was a mix of more or less exciting scenes, beginning from the comparison of misty, cloudy, but beautiful forest with gigantical ugly hole in the ground and the Hell's gate itself, continuing through the first moment when Jake saw the bioluminiscent beauty of the nature, Neytiri's flight around the hometree, and many many others.
I was even pleased and terrified by one thing in the same time, for example, as the movie depicted a real ability of human civilisation to turn Earth into horrible place to live. It was like a beautiful picture painted very well, however showing me things I don't like to see.

Quote from: Question #9Has Avatar  changed your life in any way?
Not really, in the physical sense. But the entire experince with Pandoran world slightly affected my mind. Nothing dramatical or really interesting, rather like a parametric change in a proven algorithm.

Quote from: Question #10If you could ask Frommer or Cameron three movie or language related questions what would they be?
Cameron: When You follow the process of creating Avatar back to the beginning, what was the very first idea, idea that started it all?
Is there a some part of story, or something in entire world of Pandora, something You would do differently if You had the opportunity to go back in time?

Frommer: Do You believe that sometime in the future, while walking on the street, You will hear people speaking among themselves in Na'vi?

Quote from: Question #11What else do you do in you free time?
Sometimes I am reading a good book, often sci-fi or fantasy I like most.
Still I record some movies and documents from TV, and I watch them rarely, but to be honest, I don't even remember last time when I intentionally watched a live TV broadcast.
I play floorball, at a recreational level, and the thing I like the most of everything, is to travel with my own force, without leaving a trail of exhaust gases.
So, recumbent bicycle is my very good friend, sometimes I even think a part of me, and because we don't have yet ikrans adapted to current Earth conditions, I am afraid that I never taste to fly that way.

Quote from: Question #12Name your top three favorite Earth animals from most favorite to least. Why those? What's the animal you're most terrified of?
Swallows and martins - great acrobats in air, physically small but brave when defending from predators, faithfully returning each spring and living entire life above our heads - often completely unnoticed.

Cats - self confident and independent creatures, doing what they want to do - which is only sometimes what we want them to do.

Dolphins - intelligent animals, kind in the games but fearless in the fight.

Most terrifying animal? Sharks - nothing more than biological machines specialized on killing and eating.

Quote from: Question #13Pirate, ninja, zombie, or robot?
Surprisingly enough, none of these, or maybe their combination. There are many abilities like "being invisible", "be superstrong" etc., but my approach is different. For example, if I have a weapon in my hand, it doesn't matter if it is knife, machine gun or positronic desintegrator. What is important, is the mind, will or brain that controls them.
So, basically, I don't really want one of these powers. The superpower of my dream is the ability to use all the "weak" human powers I already have, all the times whenever they are needed, always in the right way and at the right time. What is "right", and what could be "wrong", is another interesting question.
I think that this "power", when looked at from a distant perspective, can look very similar to the ability to See, which I want really much. However I cannot add "to See" to any list of wishes, because this I have to try myself, only ask my own mind and heart for help.

Quote from: Question #14What three items would you take to a desert island and why?
You said desert island? Then a good knife, the rope and the latest printout of Na'vi dictionary/grammar should be enough.

Quote from: Question #15If you could travel to anywhere in space and time (including fictional universes), where would you go and why?
Undoubtedly, Pandora is the place I want to go for the rest of my life - shorter time surely wouldn't be enough. But there are also another places and times I want to taste with my own senses.
One of them is the Earth, as depicted in Harry Harrison's "West of Eden". A race of Yilane, evolved from never extincted dinosaurs, rules the Earth, using the principles of nature for their own purposes, influencing the nature instead of destroying it.
In a total opposition of this, I also want to spend some time with captain Jean-Luc Picard, to travel across Star Trek universe.
And while returning from those distant spaces, wish I could stop for a while on our own Earth, year 15927 - just curious about the future of us, humans.

Quote from: Question #16If you were granted one single wish what would it be?
Without further explanation and not being directly influenced by Eywa - I wish for all humans on Earth to make decisions from the viewpoint of a single intelligent lifeform, to being able to look at themselves from that point of view.

Quote from: Question #17What is a question you'd ask yourself? How would you answer it?
q: I heard that you are learning an artificially created language, from a some weird scifi movie. Are you insane?
a: (laughing for a while) I never said that I am not.

Quote from: Question #18True or false?
- The Na'vi name I created for myself, was actually a result of mistake, laziness and luck - in that order.

- The thoughts about Avatar's fictional word affected the real list of pros/cons, when I was considering a dangerous and irreversible body change I underwent last year.

- I was so deeply impressed by world of Pandora, that I took the opportunity and spent ten wonderful days in real South American rainforest, with travel agency specialized at "adventure trips".

Quote from: Question #19: My Life is AVTRWhat is the funniest, weirdest, or most embarrassing Na'vi or Avatar  related thing that has happened to you?
Believe or not, no such a thing (yet) happened to me. Still have ten fingers, ordinary color of skin, normally sized ears...
When I think that no one can hear me, I sometimes practice Na'vi pronounciation, so whether there was really no one close to me, whether they were frightened to be caught listening to me. However, I believe this is only a matter of time, because I begun to comment many situations with appropriate Na'vi word. ;)
Also, the kxwerty keyboard still waits for opportunity to let me write some Czech text with it and send it to application where "undo" is an unknown term, and I must admit that sometimes it was very close.

Quote from: Question #20: Bonus QuestionOel fpìl futa teleri leNa'vi lu yawne ngaru.
Srake nga kemo si a säfpìlìri ngeyä sute leNa'vi kem seri mì feyä tìrey letrrtrr?
-
I think you love all Na'vi matters.
Do you do something what in your opinion Na'vi people do in their everyday life? (any rituals etc.)
Very interesting. Actually I don't know any such things that Na'vi does this way, something spiritual, not related to physical actions and needs. Only physical activity Na'vi can do and I cannot, is obviously tsaheyl si.
But something spiritual that Na'vi perform at daily basis? I will try to respond from the other end - Is there something I do and most of the people on my surroundings not?
Maybe. If I see the sun rising behind horizon, I welcome him with few words, and I am saying goodbye to him during sunset. I even have a few words exclusively devoted to situations, when sunset catches me in the middle of the travel somewhere (formerly in Czech, now, of course, nìNa'vi).
So, back to the question: Yes, I often express my relationship with the nature around me, in a way, which I did not see with ordinary civilised humans, in a way that I suppose to be very close to Na'vi.

Yes, cats are such a nice creatures. It is hard to believe that someone can actually hate them.
One more interesting thought - the character or nature of the people interested in Na'vi has surely something common with the animals that are close to their spirits.
