Tell us about yourself! Where are you coming from, what languages do you speak, what do you do, how old are you, tell us a few words about your family, work etc. This is the job interview part.

My name is Nikol, here known as Eana Tanhì. I come from Zagreb, capital city of Croatia, small but beautiful country in Europe. I'm 18 years old and I enrolled the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing this year, it will start next monday, I'm very excited about it even though I know it will be very hard (mostly because I've never learned programming before). I can speak only Croatian, English and little bit of Na'vi. I have 2 sisters, I'm in the middle. Older one moved out, now she's living with her boyfriend, they will engage soon. My younger sister is ok, we fight only about the computer because we have only one. I had a summer job in a book factory, I had to do all the silly jobs there but the payment was ok. With the money I'll buy myself a laptop which I want for a looooong time, I should buy it at the begining of October. I play guitar, I haven't played it for some time now because one string is broken and I always forgot to buy a new one

Why are you here?

What brought you here to the Learn Na'vi forum in the first place? Did you fall in love with the language? With Pandora? With a character? Did someone invite you? Or did you stumble upon this site? Once here, why did you decide to stay? How much time do you spend here every day?

I'm here because after I was amazed with the movie, my friend said to me: "Did you know that you can actually learn that language?" After that I went to Google and wrote the only word I remembered from the movie - scoun (yeah, I didn't know how to write it correctly ). after a few sites I found this one. I've never really been active on any forum before, but after I saw that all the people here are friendly I decided to stay and I'm very glad I did because I would never met all my friends here if I didn't.

Where do your alias and profile pic come from?

Do they have a special significance? Is you alias a translation of your real name, or just a bunch of random letters thrown together? Is that you on your profile pic?

I've never changed my pic till now (I'm not sure why, I'm too lazy probably ), I choose this one because it's whole blue and with Neytiri on it, and I really love blue colour (not because of Avatar, I love it since I was a kid), that's why my name is Eana Tanhì which means Blue Star. I knew I want my name to have word blue in it, so I went to dictionary and serached some words which would be good with the word blue, first I wanted some other word, not star, but it was already taken, I can't remember which one it was. I love my name and I think I'll never change it

How well? Why did you start to learn it? What is your ultimate goal with the language? Do you have specific methods/tools you use in learning the language? How did your friends, family, or colleagues react to your interest in learning Na'vi? Have you told them at all? Have you converted any of them?

I was learning it before, I was in Neytiri project and I had my own teacher (I was the lucky one who got Kemaweyan ). I was pretty good (at least that's what my teacher said ) but I stopped my lessons because of my final exams in June, and after that I worked and went to the seaside so I didn't have much time. I will continue my lessons as soon as I get my own laptop if my teacher will have time (and patience ) to teach me again
I learn the language because I like it and I have fun studying it, I'm usually not good at learning languages but I really enjoy learning this one so I won't give up
My friends think that this is weird but they don't make fun of me, they know this is something I love. Only two of my friends said that this is very cool, and soon after that one of them became my boyfriend

What's you favorite Na'vi word? Did you incorporate it (or others) into your everyday vocab?

I don't know, it used to be vrrtep because of it's pronaunciation, but after I started to learn the language I started to like more and more of them, so I really don't know

In your opinion, what are the top three user-created content on the LN website?

Have you made any contributions to the LN community that you're particularly proud of?

What made you make those? Do you plan on contributing (again) in the future? How?

No, I haven't but I would like to if I had a little more time. I definitely want to do something in the future.

What is it that you liked/hated the most about Avatar ?

How many times have you seen it? How big of an Avatard are you? Prove it!

There is nothing I didn't like about Avatar, I watched it for around 30 times (I've lost count ) and every time I enjoy it like it's my first time. My favourite part is when Tsu'tey says to Jake: "Toruk Makto, I will fly with you"

Has Avatar  changed your life in any way?

Are you trying to become a Na'vi? How and to what extent? Do you live on a tree? Do you wear your hair in a long braid? Or are you just simply blue? Do you bond with animals? Is Gaia on your contact list? Did you have your photo 'shopped?

I met a lot of friends here, and they are all the people I want to meet in real life. I didn't have my photo navified even though I tryed but my Photoshop skills aren't that good yet

If you could ask Frommer or Cameron three movie or language related questions what would they be?

What else do you do in you free time?

Go out with my friends, not just in clubs, we go on a little trips sometimes, rollerskating or ice-skating, bowling, playing tennis, swimming and much more.. I read books also, right now I'm reading A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin (great book btw ). I'm also on a comp a lot

Name your top three favorite Earth animals from most favorite to least. Why those? What's the animal you're most terrified of?

Dog - I have dog all my life, they are smart and cute, sometimes annoying but who wouldn't love them
Siberian white tiger - They are amazing, I would like to have one
Pinguin - I don't know why, they are cool

There are 3 animals that I'm really scared of:
Spider, Octopus and the worst of all - fast centipede

If there was a person who didn't treated anyone or anything with respect, how would you deal with that person. Would still show some respect so that person might learn about showing respect to others or would do something else? Please describe with detail.

I always try to be nice to everyone so I would try to solve the situation with talking. There is one person like that who I know, he wasn't my friend, nobody liked him because he wasn't friendly, he would always insult everyone.. One evening I came to him and said that I need to talk to him, we were talking for a few hours and I explained to him that he won't be happy if he continue acting like that, I said to him what the others think about him, he wasn't happy to hear that but he said he will try to change.. He really changed for some time than he started acting like before so I reminded him on our talk, so he became normal again. He was thanking me for a month after our conversation because he saw that someone cared about him and he really tryed to change his behavior.

I have wondered how easy it was for you to pronounce the 'RR when first learning the language.  I see your native language has that exact same consonant (as in Hrvatski), and it was probably easier for you than most

1. True, I admit this is a total guess.
2. False, seems unlikely, but there maybe some people who have this, no sensation of pain at all is a known medical condition, CIPA, which comes in several forms.
3. True, seems plausible, and as Txantslusam Skxawng pointed, out you did say you are scared of an octopus, just not why.
