Quote from: Question #1Who are you?

Who am I? It's hard to answer that, so I'll just say I'm a work in progress. :)  I live in the Heartland of the US, born in the North with my heart in the South. I speak American English, some German and some French and a little bit of Na'vi. My family members have always been interested in communications via all media, with the written word being the primary tool. Until recently, I wrote for a living.  I hope to be doing that again soon.

Quote from: Question #2Why are you here?

My profile says I've been here nearly two years; by now I've forgotten how I found Learn Na'vi.  :(  I love languages and I thought the movie was an immersion experience. Guessing, I'd say I probably found the site from reading Cameron's and Frommer's interviews on the web. I've been playing here more lately, thanks to having the time to do it. There are such interesting people here from so many different places...you guys are awesome!

Quote from: Question #3Where do your alias and profile pic come from?

Seze was one of the coolest parts of the movie for me.  Watching Neytiri introduce her to Jake struck a chord, especially when Jake hit the branch. I could almost feel the cool rush of the wind over her wings and the exhilaration of the freefall as she plummeted from perches on some of the floating monoliths in ayRam aLusìng. And the concept of tsaheyl si is brilliantly evocative of the bond many of us feel for friends of ours who just happen to be animals. You know who you are.  ;D

I became Seze Mune because we already have the one, the only, the original Seze on Learn Na'vi.  He's a guy and I'm a girl, but we are both located in approximately the same general area.  I think.  And my profile pic is one of the standard offerings on Learn Na'vi.  If I knew how to change it to something more original, I would.

Quote from: Question #4Srak nga tsun nìna'vi pivlltxe?

Oe leiu numeyu, therefore I welcome any corrections anyone wants to make on my Na'vi. Or anything else for that matter. I love the liquid sound of the language (i.e. I could listen to Tirea, Puvomun and Txonä,etc. all day). My ultimate goal with the language is merely to understand and use it, especially in writing our RP: Aytautral  There isn't anyone around here to speak Na'vi with, but at least I have LN, where I can write and play with it! Irayo, ma aysmuk!

Quote from: Question #5What's you favorite Na'vi word? Did you incorporate it (or others) into your everyday vocab?

I have no favorite word, unless it's tsaheylu, the bond.  What would make it my favorite is the concept of being so connected to someone/something that your neural circuitry is practically the same.  I wish.......

Quote from: Question #6In your opinion, what are the top three user-created content on the LN website?

Top three? Probably the language threads and links. I also like the Science and General areas.  Anywhere people can exchange their ideas and expand their understandings...that's where I gravitate.

Quote from: Question #7Have you made any contributions to the LN community that you're particularly proud of?

Oh, heck no, I haven't contributed a whole lot.  I enjoy our RP Aytautral (Sautral) immensely, so that would probably be my most substantial contribution here. And I hope to continue playing with that thread in the future.  Unless my characters are eaten.  Always a potential problem on Pandora.  :D

Miles Quaritch: "...Pandora will eat you and s*** you out dead with zero warning..."  But there are a few who have my back, irayo seiyi Eywaru.  :D

Quote from: Question #8What is it that you liked/hated the most about Avatar ?

What's not to like about Avatar? Seriously. The concept, the rendering...  People criticize James Cameron for the so-called tired predictability of the story, but to me it is a beautiful multidimensional iteration of the Greatest Story Ever Told.  It is, at its core, a story about Love, truth, respect and the interconnectedness of All Things great and small. :) Only this time it's more out-of-this-world and......blue.  When it comes down to the psychology of it, all stories seem to be about loss of love on some level and a return to it. Reductionistic, I know.  :P

Quote from: Question #9Has Avatar  changed your life in any way?

Do I bond with animals?  That's gettin' kinda personal, ain't it?  ;D

Avatar has changed my life dramatically and in ways that are both beautiful and very sad. No, I'm not trying to become a Na'vi, I am only trying to become myself, which in a different sense is a little blue at the moment.  :)

Quote from: Question #10If you could ask Frommer or Cameron three movie or language related questions what would they be?

I would like the word for 'escape'. On Pandora you are either predator or prey, whether you are Na'vi, ikran, yerik or RDA, so you will be on one end or the other of that word.  I'm hoping that two years after the movie, we will soon have a word for it.

As for a question about the movie, I wonder why James Cameron is visiting the Mariana Trench for Avatar 2.  That makes me nervous for his sake. Are we going from the heights to the depths, from outer space to inner in some sense?

Quote from: Question #11What else do you do in you free time?

I work out. I think.  I spend time with my family.  And I dream about learning how to fly. It makes me feel like Jake at the beginning of the movie.."...I started having these dreams of flying. I was free. But sooner or later, you always have to wake up."

Quote from: Question #12Name your top three favorite Earth animals from most favorite to least. Why those? What's the animal you're most terrified of?

One of my favorites is the harpy eagle, the largest raptor in the world.  I would like to see through its eyes, and feel the wind beneath its wings as it glides majestically over thermals. (mouseover some of these)

I love horses too, and imagine what it would be like to thunder across the prairie for the fun of it.

There is no animal which strikes fear in me, not even the larger predators like tigers, grizzlies or crocodiles...but I would NOT like to bump into any great white sharks or box jellyfish.

Quote from: Question #13Pirate, ninja, zombie, or robot?

Flying and seeing would be enough superpower for me.

Quote from: Question #14What three items would you take to a desert island and why?

Wrong. Escape is ALWAYS possible, although not necessarily in ways that are acceptable to all people. Depending on where this island is, I think I'd want a OH-58D Kiowa Warrior for starters, but I'd definitely take sunglasses and sun lotion besides that.  ;D  After that, I'd improvise.  Survival is what you make of it.  Even when you're not stranded on a desert isle.

Quote from: Question #15If you could travel to anywhere in space and time (including fictional universes), where would you go and why?

Well, you didn't limit the number of dimensions I had to choose.  I would like to experience total awareness within the 11 proposed dimensions in M-string theory.  What is consciousness, then?

Quote from: Question #16If you were granted one single wish what would it be?

To understand in the most complete sense possible.  In terms nìNa'vi, I want universal kame and tsaheyl si. Not asking for much, is it?  ;D

Quote from: Question #17What is a question you'd ask yourself? How would you answer it?

I'd ask myself "Why...?" And I'd answer it with "Let's think about this..."

Quote from: Question #18True or false?

Wolf Blitzer once put his arm around me at a White House Christmas party and whispered something into my ear.

A pilot asked me to take over the controls of a Piper Cub mid-flight in the face of an oncoming electrical storm.

I have worked with underprivileged children to show them how to be independent by growing food organically.

Quote from: Question #19: My Life is AVTRWhat is the funniest, weirdest, or most embarrassing Na'vi or Avatar  related thing that has happened to you?

Huh.  I can't say.   :o

Quote from: Question #20: Bonus QuestionFrom Niri Te: Where you get the inspiration for these really cool stories, and news articles that you post links to, they are great, and the animal photos aren't too bad either.

Seze Mune:  My curiosity is my inspiration.  I read a lot and my range of interest is wide: from the scientific, like what dissipates atmospheric turbulence, to who is Charles Krauthammer and why does he make me grin?

And by special request:

Niri Te

Txantsan ma Seze, txantsan! So you are a writer, and frm the Eastern Time Zone, I'm guessing that you have something to do with the media, I don't know whether print, or broadcast.
Thank you so much for the Penguin photos and video, they just made my morning. Your interest in things scientific is what caught my eye when I first joined, and noticed in what threads your comments popped up.
Have a great week, we will be interacting on the different threads that we both enjoy, I was serious about the plane ride, and if you DO ever get to come out, know that once I get the aircraft away from anything solid that it can run into, I WILL hand the controls over to you, and let you fly MY Ikran.
As to the true false questions,
Number one) Because you are a writer by profession, it is quite possible, so I will say true

Number two) You have far too much interest in aviation to NOT have had the controls of a small plane in your hands, so I'm going to say true

Number three) From what I know about your personality, I am going to say that this is true as well.

Have a GREAT WEEK, and remember Sunday comes up fast, so start looking for who you would like to have take over NotW when it gets here.

MA SEZE MUNE!  Seykxel sì Nìtram!
You have blessed me always with your choice in photos and video clips!
Your Lenomum, curiosity, about our own planet and stellar system, I find intriguing and thought provoking.
I like the photo of the penguin with the cymbals about to awaken the hung-over polar bear. (Niri Te says "That's what he gets for partying all night at the Blue Walrus Pub!"  It is NOT an advisable action, but amusing, none the less!
First question: True  I would like to think that someone took you to Washington as a press assignment, and that Wolf Blitzer, took a notice of you and whispered, "You're standing on my cable!"
Second Question: False  I would like to think that a pilot would not hand over the controls in an approaching electrical storm. But I don't doubt that you have had the privaledge of some "stick time"
Third question:  True: I wouldn't doubt that you have helped underprivaleged folks learn to grow organic food. Enjoy your one week of FAME!

Ma Niri Te, thank you for your comment.  I would love to temporarily take over the controls in your ikran, but it's important to keep in mind that I don't know my a** from an aileron, so a paid-up insurance policy is a must!!   ;D

2: you seem like you know what you're talking about with planes, so again because im ignorant of them, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt hrh
3: you seem like a very caring person, so this would be entirely feasible for you.

Well, if all people (or most of them) would want the same, world would be much better. I'm sure. Understanding other people and world is what we really need, not money

About ngay/tsleng questions:
1/ Hmm, I've found who Wolf Blitzer is, but how did you get into White House? I think tsleng
2/ I'm not sure if pilots do such actions, but it could be great experience, I guess ngay! But not sure if I want experience this myself :)

This sounds very sad... but I hope for you that you remember it again in the future. :-\

True or False Question... hmm... very hard to say.

As usual for me, it's late in the week, but congratulations and enjoy the remaining couple of days!

It's so cool that you are a professional writer and overall curious person. :D

For the true/false, I'm guessing T/F/T, basically due to the same reasons Ateyo listed.
