I'm using firefox with the grease monkey plugin if it helps.

I'm going to start using the up to date version. I've pushed the new .po file that will work with the new facebook translator, done by Kevin Scannell based on Neski Manuel's work. Give me a bit and I'll run it, and your problems should be gone, Ftiafpi.

Huzza! Now I can put the Facebook plugin on all my computers.

Ok, after a lot of translation work, and then getting Kevin's scripts to work, we've now got an entirely new version. It's not made by translating the file we were doing earlier, but a .po file in the repository.

Here's the result: https://github.com/RichardLitt/keypuk-ninavi/raw/master/facebook-nav.user.js

Notice that the sidebar is translated. You should switch back to English (US) for this, as most of them are different and it'll get more than English (UK). We'll have to double our efforts to get all of the strings we can, but I don't really see that being a problem, do you? :)

Hoooray! Also the "See more" problem I was having has been fixed.

P.S. The OP still says to use English UK.

Well, I was hoping to get a bit more functionality out of this one before changing everything. But what do you think? Works good, eh?

People should help me translate it.  8)

I'll see if I can work on some more translations during lunch today.

Hahaha.

No, but seriously, we should work on this.

On what?

As thread title and OP suggest, work on editing the translations in a greasemonkey text replacement javascript which works on the facebook.com/* domain.

You had a great idea, but it needs Facebook's collaboration. You need to have permission for translating Facebook into another language. Instead of, we can start a free forum (I know http://www.forumotion.com/).

Don't give up, because it would be great. If you start navi.facebook.com, keypuk.forumX.com or navirikeypuk.com, I'll be there.

I have also name proposals: Naviri Keypuk, Naviyä Keypuk, Keypuk leNa'vi. ''NìNa'vi'' doesn't mean ''in Na'vi'', so that's why I don't suggest ''Keypuk nìNa'vi''.

You don't need Facebook's permission to make a javascript to translate it automatically, which is what we're doing. Did you read the thread?

and why make another Forum when we can talk in the /ninavi-niaw board here? O_O

EDIT: and the biggest trouble with a javascript word replacement script is that it replaces ALL instances of word X with word Y but that is not always the desirable case given the lexical and grammatical inconsistencies between Na'vi and English. But that said, this is still much cooler than reading Facebook interface in English. :D

I'm playing in a game and named my place nìNa'vi.
