It was originally a request from Alyara Arati for her story, so Pawl has created it and sent it via e-mail around a month ago.

Hm, too bad that this wasn't announced :( — did he say something about stress?

Hm, one example sentence confuses me...

Why ‹iv› ???

Alyara Arati

Yes, he did indicate stress, but I had no way to do the same in my story.  Ngaytxoa, ma Plumps.

Feel free to send it off to Alyara Arati. And I'll try to use it in the blog as well.

I'm confused about a bit of grammar:

Quote
lemreya hapxìtu tsasoaiä txolula mipa kelkuti mì tayo.

ADJ-a NOUN-subj NOUN-gen VERB-perf. ADJ-a NOUN-Pat ADP+NOUN

K.P.'s own translation says it means the surviving members of that family built a new home on the plains.
Wouldn't the plural be ayhapxìtu?  And doesn't it need to be in the Agentive, i.e. ayhapxìtul?
'Ivong, Na'vi!

Blue Elf

Really, seems that agentive ending is missing here and plural prefix too. How it is possible that no-one noticed that before? Maybe problem is that txula is marked as verb only, not vin. nor vtr.
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.
"Oe tasyätxaw ulte koren za'u oehu" (Limonádový Joe)

Plumps

:o That is an error indeed.
As there is case marking on kelku, txula is transitive and it should be at least hapxìtul ...

No, this is a modal construction, you can't take agentive to it.

No, I'd say that one is correct because it is a modal verb construct.
He wanted to respond to a question I had tomorrow morning - I can make him aware of this little error in hapxìtu. I'm sure he wants to know about it.
