And when I thought that I had lost most of my core interest, hearing his words has enlivened my appreciation for this language. Heck, I feel that I can use the word love to describe my admiration for Frommer's great achievement, here.

Irayo, ma Frome!

Lora Taw

oh man this has me excited. Paul Frommer is such a cool guy! when i started learning na'vi in earnest i didnt really think that the person who created it would be interested in helping us. but now i see.

I can't wait until we start actually seeing Frommer here on the forums  :)

I must say, the way he speaks it is amazing. It is nice to actually hear the language being spoken in such a way as opposed to single words or if lucky at most, a sentence.

donjoe

Yeah, feels like it's straight out of the movie. ;D

This is very good news! I'll translate the letter in Dutch:

Alsjeblieft, geloof me, mijn vrienden.

Kind of reminds me of the -que suffix in Latin: "Senatus Populusque Romanus" = "Senate and People of Rome"

kind of reminds me to sono pazzi questi romani

Today, we bring you some fantastic news - a message from Paul Frommer in response to the overwhelming feedback on Ma Sempul. Be sure to add your name to the petition if you haven't already!

Listen to the letter, as read by Dr. Frommer himself!

To all my friends and friends of the Na'vi language:

I See you, my friends, and I thank you. I have heard the message you have sent me so passionately. I feel your love for the Na'vi language. And I know you are all waiting for my guidance.

Please believe me, my friends. I want very much to guide you. But as you know, I must work together with those who have brought us "Avatar" and the world of Pandora. I have sent them a message, but up to now no answer has arrived. Like you, I too am waiting.

When I receive an answer, I will let you know, and I will then decide the best way to bring you the words and rules of Na'vi.

I hope I will soon have good news to give you.

In the words of our young friend Markus from Galway . . . Let Na'vi bloom!

Goodbye for now, and may Eywa be with you.

Your friend and teacher, Paul.
