This lends some serious hope that lì'fya leNa'vi will play an important role there.

Txantsan nang! I am really looking forward to seeing what they are creating! 2018 can't come soon enough!

At the picture, it is (I'm interested if someone outside of our community appreciates that fact). Here one letter is missing

Well, they got Pawl to translate it for them.  ;).   It is Walt's famous comment, "To all who come to this happy place, welcome!"

Well, I think a short PM would be also nice to let me know my mistake, wouldn't it? :-\
Anyway, mistake fixed.

And here's a link to another article about this, with a video too:

Awesome stuff!!! I can't wait for all this Avatar/Disney goodness! Hopefully it'll be more *Avatar* than *Disney* of course.  :D

Kaltxi Lisa!

Yep, I noticed that too...the two guys in that photo would be dead without them.  ::)

Hey, Disney -- not very accurate there!  8)

I suspect it is supposed to be a joke.

I also suspect, through the power of Disney magic, that the air in their Pandora will be breathable by sawtute ;)

EDIT: After watching the video, I now understand that these folks really were on Pandora, and it probably was Disney magic that was keeping them alive.

Its very interesting to note that this will be part of the Disney Animal Kingdom exhibit, something I have wanted to see, anyway!

The official answer from Kathy at Lightstorm Entertainment is:

"This photo shows Joe Rohde, the Imagineering creative lead for Animal Kingdom and Tom Staggs, head of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Their "official story" (with filmmaker approval for the purposes of this event) is that they were able to receive specialized inoculations before the trip that made it possible to visit without exopacks.  That said, the whole display is mostly in the spirit of fun and getting people excited about the new land – there are lots of other things in the cube that true AVATAR experts would notice as discrepancies ... but that's what makes it great to be an expert!"

So what else is odd in those photos?  :)

Well frankly, LEI (Lightstorm Entertainment, Inc) has been unbelievably supportive of the Avatar fan community in many ways. Even being in the middle of the six year wait for the first sequel, they continue to be interested in the fan community and in their interactions with us. We are fortunate indeed.

So when will we be able to book overnight stays at the Disney Kelutal? :D

Some awesome stuff indeed!

I tapped out a bunch of observations on Avatar Nation: http://www.avatarnation.net/6-things-about-the-d23-avatar-land-teaser-you-might-have-missed/

but I gotta say the BUR (Burbank CA) > PNDRA checked bag tags were a great touch.

Also I spy Jon Landau making a cameo in the Valkyrie shuttle. ;)
