2 anniversaries are fast approaching; the release of Avatar but more importantly of Learnnavi.org.   

We (and the language) have grown much over the past year have gained many new friends. So much have we grown that Paul has given us an opportunity to contribute to the further growth of the language (assuming all goes well with the committee).

During this holiday season, rainbows and kittens shall fall from the sky as we feast on the flesh of the haters who so often have called us nerds and the trolls who at first claimed avatar to be forgotten in a number of months.

Spread happiness and joy (while promoting learnnavi of course  ) and instead of red and green colors for decoration, might I suggest.. Blue and more blue?

Also remember, your not slaves,..just extremely dedicated unpaid workers who are here completely of their own freewill and definitely not mind-control.

Actually Avatar's premiere date was 10 december... not 18
So today (15-12-2010) it's exactly one year and 5 days old.
However, I celebrate it on 17 december since Avatar went into cinema's here in Netherlands on that date.

Sran, there are a lot of things turning 1 around this time.  This forum came into existence during the midnight hours of December 20th to 21st depending on timezone.  Pretty much the 21st to everyone except the west coast of the US...

10 december is the first time it's showed in theatre.

This (16th) was the day I saw it 1 year ago. A foggy, frosty night in Camberley, Surrey, England. 

Cinema: Shiny and new.
Stereoscopy: Dolby 3D.
Entertainment: Simple, visceral, escapist, sublime, fantastical and beguiling.

I'll be celebrating by watching on Friday. The release in the USA is the 18th, but the Saturday's booked.

First viewing ever for me was a 6:30pm showing on January 9th in 2D. First 3D was Jan 30th. Didn't see an IMAX until September 5th when the SE was out.
