Peu lu 'alyi'eia?

Reading Prrton's song reminds me that I have never used the reflexive or the evidential.

'i'a, vi. end/conclude

= I will be pleased that (it) will have completed ending in the future.

dang. :D nice!

I have the other version by Talis of these two on TR...it would be cool to have people layer different vocal parts together in harmony. like this starting at 15 seconds:

With Harmony "Silent Night"

I LOOOOOOOVE vocal harmonies

Note to to-end-skippers who are following lyrics of «Adeste Fideles»/«Ziva'u, Naviya»...

One important word in the lyrics CHANGED.

Seeing this language go in one year from what we had this time last December, to songs like this, has me in awe of the talent that Na'vi has brought together. Paul has brought something new into the world and with the dedicated work of many people, it is growing by leaps and bounds. I don't think I have ever been prouder to be involved in something than when listening to Talis and Txonä Rolyu singing Christmas songs in Na'vi.

Oh you should have seen the smile on my face when I was listening to these!!!!! No no no, wait....you should have seen my MOM's face when she walked in during "Tewti ma Utral" and she asked what it was and I told her it was me singing "O Christmas Tree" in Na'vi. Priceless doesn't even come close! Thank you Markì, I will feed these to my hungry FB friends who have been waiting lol.

*sigh* I had a good clean mic, but I have no idea what happened to it. It was sitting on my desk one day and then it's.....gone. I'll see if I can buy one? I hope I can find an inexpensive one.
Edit: I won't forget about Adeste Fideles :) I'm going to be recording on Monday if I have the house to myself, and definitely Tuesday! I'll be doing some stuff in my countertenor raNge :)

Anybody want to finish "Joy to the World"?

'Efu nitram! Fìftxozä lu!
Zìsìt amip za'u.
Ftawnemkrrä fra'ut akawng
ye'rìn tswiveia' ko! Ye'rìn tswiveia' ko!
Ye'rìn, ye'rìn, tswiveia' ko.

I was following the Japanese year-end tradition of 忘年 (forgetting the old year) with the theme in the lyrics, but I'm not tied to this at all. Please anyone who is interested do with it what you will.

I especially like this rendition from YouTube. There is a fantastic regional American dialect going on in here. I once had a long philosophical discussion with a Japanese Mennonite at a Jonathan's (like a Denny's) in Tokyo. Long story for another time and thread.

Joy to the World the Lord is Come. (Acapella)

Happy Holidays, everybody!

Probably has a few grammatical errors in it, but you should be able to figure it out. Just imagine it sung by three very high-pitched chipmunks!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

Ok so here's a list of the songs everyone wants me to record in Na'vi, tell me if I've forgotten something:

1) Adeste Fideles
2) Joy to the World (when finished)
3) Holly and the Ivy
4) New Palulukanit
5) The Chipmunks

I will be recording some of these in my countertenor range as well :) I will be looking for a new mic on Monday and recording Tuesday! Can't wait! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get all these done on Tuesday, but I'll do what I can.
