Not only is this grammatically wrong (ngaytxoa), but the meter isn't good either. It's best uninfixed in my opinion. I noticed this in the shower while singing it to myself and then promptly left the house without a chance to correct it and had lost internet due to bad weather until just a few minutes ago.

Think of it not as spelling but as what the voice is doing as one sings these lines. Listen to the music while looking at the diacritics.

-YA is the special vocative for plural groups of people. I almost NEVER use it, but it works well for this. Neytiri says "Mawey, Na'viya, mawey!" in the film. I think Zoë actually created this by mistake during filming, but it's canon now.

It think that's technically correct, but I prefer «ma Frapo» for that.

I've never much liked the -ya vocative suffix (personally), but it sounds nicer to me in this particular song lyric than usual.

I guess other options might be:

  Ziva'u ma eylan
  Ziva'u eylanya (kind of pretty and lyrical?? Maybe? But stress is then wrong with music ( eyláán.ya    ).)

I think I like «Na'viya» best with «ma Frapo» as a close second.

Come to think if it, though, the stress is better with «ma Frapo»... «Ziváá'u ma Fráápo»...
