Ma oeyä eylan,

As I hinted at in the news about duration of time, AP Nova, Talis and I were working on a translation of Christmas songs. Here is one of them (FYI, not put on YouTube by us but via a third, well fourth party :P who wants to stay uncredited for now)

Sung by our ever talented Talis (give him some credit :P ) – the drums were added by the fourth party.

Text at the end says: '2010 was the year of the Na'vi! With this in mind: Feliz Na'vidad – Merry Christmas! With the friendly assistance of Learnnavi.org'

The lyrics are Frommer proved. Which means that the ellision of ma utral to sound like mawtral is correct.

Nìsung:

And here is another one ;) Hope you enjoy:

I think, this time the background music is better than the first. Again, lyrics approved by Karyu Pawl :)

Tìsung asyen:
Thanks to Markì, the original versions can be downloaded H E R E

And there's a treat for you ;) A song that was not used on YouTube, it's called "Maria went to the forest of thorns", Maria kxamlä na'rìng kä in the Na'vi version, this one is a total blend of Terran and Pandoran ideas, names are kept, Eywa added :P Here are the

Txantsan! Unexpected and wonderful. I loved hearing this and the lyrics are quite wonderful and easily memorable. Something tells me I'm going to be humming this later today.

Splendid work! Really awesome! :)
Karma for you.

I don't like the drums and the music in the background, they sound weird...

but that seems just to be my opinion ;) :D

I think they sound very good... :3 niNa'vi. :)

Talis

But the sound of the music and the voice don't fit, do they?
the drums are killing the softness of the song :/ of course it's a nice idea concerning the na'vi but... well I don't know...
maybe it's just because I just know the "softer version" where there is just the voice without drums...

eanayo

This is definitely one of the more awesome things I've seen today. :)

Many thanks to the creators of this, cookies all around!

But I love this variant. With drums. Because it sounds Na'vily. :)

That would be quite the creative use of an ikran. ;)  Maybe they would train ikranvi to do the job.

EDIT: Fixed "Forest Banshee" according to Ekirä's reasoning.

AFAIK it isn't Frommer approved. :P I think ikranvi would be better.
