Do I see that Toruk Mator and Tirea Aean both have new avatars?
Coincidence?
Pasha, an Avatar story, my current fanfic, Avatar related.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

I'll go through and edit all those audio chat posts by hand (there's not even that many of them) and then make a thread in that board that announces the new syntax.

Well...... If it is isn't a HUGE effort to convert the posts by hand, I'd rather not go hacking up this installation like we did the old one.

it's not hacking... it just a new installer with an advanced audio tag. I hate to edit the code of the SMF files that could cause some kind of drama in the error logs...
If stuff work like I imagine, one just have to uninstall the previous audio tag and reinstall it by the new one.

I messed up with SMF's php codes and stuff, and here is what I got:
old gallery link?id=6701[/img]

This is a part of the audio parser, that will be in the SMF's BB code parser php block:
Code: [Select]
'<audio class="lnaudio" src="$1" controls="controls" preload="none">'.$txt['html5_audio_no_supported'].'</audio> '
As you can see I have added also [class="lnaudio"] for styling the audio tags. I have no idea what style I should use, but some of you maybe have some ideas. I would love to hear them. :)

I am about to do some test regarding the tag's security (no html or script abuse possibility).

There is currently no style for the audio player installed, because it would need a lot of stuff to cunstomize it. What one sees is the browser's standard player.

Oh, and I fixed the position of the ä and ì button :)

If anyone who is using the Microsoft's new browser "Edge" and wonders why clicking on smileys/BB codes have no effect, it's definely MS fault by not following standards by the W3 committees...

I am not going to touch the scripts and stuff, because:
The team has found a possible fix for this issue, will test it some more and it will surely been included in the next 2.0 release.

Thank you for reporting it.

Emm... I like the old version :(
I can set up the "Core" theme, that looks exactly like the old one, but it need time to re-edit their code. Is this a deal, ma Kemaweyan? :)
I too would prefer previous "old" theme as one used for not-logged in users. Text on image background is harder to read, and also, when I read forum anonymously in my office, it's less staring to my boss :)

Related to forum update - good job and many thanks to all person involved! Is there any feature list we have got by this update?
BTW - I've found some kxeyeytsìp, where to inform about them - here?

Well, about the "Core" theme... I though a lot about it and the different template.php files that it uses to generate the "old-styled" version requires to much changes. Some modifications does not support the Core theme, because the majority of the mod authors prefered to create their stuff on the SMF standard theme. Also, I have written some mods to have stuff that arent available for this forum version and it is a pain in the txìm to fit the code on two diffently generated themes. Thus, I used the standard theme rather than the Core theme.
For that reason, I have created the "Navi" theme to have a theme that base on the standard theme, but still look close to the old one. But, if there are enough members, who really want the Core theme, please let me know, and I will try my best to set it up on this forum.

Ma Blue Elf, please report errors here in this thread or PM them to me.

As for the feature list, well I can't think of... but I just write what I can remember:
 - possibility to PM members also with apostrophe in their name: just go to the profile of the member one want to write a Pm and click at "send a personal message" OR just use the Username one can see in the profile.
 - possibility to ignore posts/PMs
 - alternative login possibility -> that OpenID (I think, it uses version 1.1, but not sure)
 - in you profile, you can now see which topics you have started and all your uploaded attachments
 - a lot of fixed Bugs
and some various other stuff, I forgot...
