What a strange little article.  At least the author recognizes that his own linguistic impulses to save dying languages or revive the departed is personal quirk.  That said, I fully endorse any project to revive Coptic.  :)

It's a nice article, expect for it's cathegory.lol. It doesn't have any hate against the learners.

Strange, an article that's not bashing the people who are learning the language...How much time do you think it'll take for haters to find this one?

And once again, another news outlet fails to cite the fact that Taronyu is the one who created the dictionary in the first place. They give credit to the group of Russians that translated it as creators.
