What a strange little article.  At least the author recognizes that his own linguistic impulses to save dying languages or revive the departed is personal quirk.  That said, I fully endorse any project to revive Coptic.

And once again, another news outlet fails to cite the fact that Taronyu is the one who created the dictionary in the first place. They give credit to the group of Russians that translated it as creators.
