Kaltxì ma frapo! Livu awngaru nrra!

On the 19th of December, 2009, the website of Learn Na'vi was created. 2 days after, the forum was founded. Since then, it has grown and we became the biggest fans of Avatar and Karyu Pawl. We are the first Na'vi community here on Earth and we should be proud of that.

Today, we are a couple of active members and the Na'vi dictionary contains about 2083 words! Tewti!

Two days ago, we have ''buried'' a time capsule and sent a message to the LN members of 2019. I hope that our wishes will come true.

So, happy anniversary everyone!

Oooh, a time capsule (how to say that in Na'vi?), great idea and how wonderfully exciting.

5 years. It seems like it's been longer and at the same time much shorter. Well, here's to the next five years.

I'd say 'upxare ne zusawkrr or probably zusawkrrur depending on the context ;)

Cool, great idea, ma Vawmataw ... who's 'we'? :) Did you work with somebody else together?

Vawmataw

Well, a few members wrote messages in the capsule, but Toruk Makto hid (buried) the thread.

Ftxozäri aylrrtok ngaru ma Forum LearnNa'vi.org! :D ;D

It's a bit confusing, because there are now three aniversary threads...HRH! ;D
...one in the calendar board, and one in the Avatar general discussion board.

Maybe an Olo'eyktan is kind to remove the poll part of this thread. :)

Ohhhh, I missed it. Darn.
I guess that thread is in a place (normal) people cannot see. :P :P :P :P :P

::) Suspicious...
I don't know where the thread is, seriously. But it was in the spam board before it has ''buried''.
But I'm sure that thread will appear in 2019 IF nobody forgot about it. :)

The time capsule project should have been more well-publicized. A lot of folks don't follow every section of this board. So, if it was in the 'spam' section, I would have never seen it.

Yeah, I only glance at the spam section every few weeks

I remember when we had much less than one thousand words.

I remember being absolutely and helplessly addicted to using this site at every waking second of my life for three years solid.

The posts. The mistakes. The corrections. The conversations. The HRHs! The Meetups (which I only attended two of). The memes. Tirea Radio. NgayNume. The TeamSpeak. The IRC. The LEARNING. The funzies.

Love you all at Learn Na'vi. Still. <3

Happy late 5th :D :D

The EDITS! ;D

Tanri

It doesn't feels like five years ;)
Sometimes I wish to go back in time and experience again those beginnings. Not for to do something better, just for the feeling of being close to the growing fire, ignited a few moments ago.
So, thank you all for those wonderful years, and looking forward to the future yet to come!

BTW, look at the pool. 8:0. What a fantastic subconscious togetherness :D

But look what you have accomplished. You are one of the people here who really KNOWS this language, and knows the strengths and limitations of this language. You have a real heart for teaching and sharing, and you do so selflessly. The contributions you have made to LearnNavi over these last five years are enormous. Na'vi would probably not be what it is today if it wasn't for your devotion. Maybe it was excessive for a while, but it certainly wasn't wasted! And, I am glad you are still here and still contributing.

Oh, and thanks for letting me pick your brain for a week this summer. That was very helpful to my continued learning of this language.
