The TV listings for May 5th on GMA is up, and it's enough of a segment to get a mention in the listing.

Inside the Governor's Ball; learning the Na'vi language from "Avatar"; Oscar predictions; Barbara Walters' interview with actress Mo'Nique.

WOW! That's pretty cool.

Okay, that's close, but remember that Na'vi is a phonetically spelled language, so the silent letters "ue" would just be left out.  Also, the "q" sound would simply be spelled "k".  So your Na'vi name would just be Mo'Nik.  Don't forget to pronounce the glottal stop distinctly!

Still, not bad for a beginner!  Welcome!

Wow, this is epic... national tv...

Something tells me we need to prepare the servers...

Yeah, I don't think it will be as bad as when Fox mentioned us on all the Avatar feeds.  Also we are on different hardware now than before, though only time will tell...

Yeah, I agree. Hopefully the server won't crash, which I doubt. However, if it does, then my entire day will be ruined  :(  (And probably many others)
My uncle's dog came over a little less than one week ago. I stupidly left the computer plug on the floor. That night, his dog chewed it up. So, the next morning, I go looking for the plug and I find a chewed up piece of metal. I sadly cannot purchase a new plug right now, and my computer's battery is out. I'm at my public library.

Also, I discovered this promising "small business" film company called Mirror Entertainment. It looks really promising: http://www.mirrorente

"meoauniaea" (meh-oh-ah-oo-nee-ah-eh-ah). "Don't ask me what it means - I haven't assigned a meaning yet. But I love the word!" Frommer said.

"Latin and Zombies. Technically dead, but still influencing society."

Here's the thing about a member boost, we have, as of right now 3,918 members. But, of those 3,918, the vast majority of them are people with less than 10 posts who haven't logged on in a while. I can't imagine the server crashing on a possible sudden spike if it hasn't already with all the less active members

The server gets unhappy when too many people are active at once. The total number of members is less of an issue with capacity.

Good thought, though!

I can't wait for this to air! I am using the fact that the Na'vi language is on national television to hopefully get the husband and some of my friends into it ;)

Everyone make sure to TiVo the show tomorrow!

I set it to record every day from when they first did the interview, before we found out the exact air date.
