I've trained my family and friends to say it with the stop so it's less awkward. ;)
Hard to do that...nobody else I know really cares about Avatar. All but of my 3 friends get annoyed if I mention it. Then there's the small group of Twilight and Harry Potter fans...if I bring it up near them, they get more than annoyed, they get completely PO'd.

It also doesn't help that I can barely speak Na'vi myself. I seem to have developed only half the skill :P - I can read it fine if I have a dictionary (vocab is slowly getting better), but can't write/speak it beyond simple sentences and canned phrases...

My friends and family just humor me. :D They're nice about my obsession, but most of them don't like Avatar that much.

That's how my parents and those 3 friends are. They don't mind the obsession, but aren't all that interested.

The rest of my friends don't even want to hear it...they just blow me off when I bring it up.
2010 was the year of the Na'vi.Vivar 'ivong Na'vi!

In a quick email today from Frommer he mentioned that he saw the Jeopardy show with Na'vi in it and he liked that they pronounced his name properly.

...and he liked that they pronounced his name properly.

XD I thought he'd be more concerned that they couldn't get the answer. ;)

I think I'd be mad if he had said "Created by Paul Frahmer," yeah, I'd be more upset about my own name than that of a language a large handful of people speak.

Key mìsyok si? :D

Keytsyokx, so I've seen, although srane, "key mì syokx" would describe the term quite well.
