New details have been discovered about the upcoming release of Avatar on Bluray and DVD. We already know the release date; although we now finally have details on the bonus materials that will be included with the film.

To me, it sounds like it is going to be a super amazing package. 4 hours worth of the movie (with the included deleted scenes) and over three hours of special features! It is still unknown if all the same material will be available with the 3D version that comes with the Panasonic TVs in December. If you guys find any more information, be sure to let me know and I can add it to this post. Hope you guys enjoy this compiled information.

Does anyone know if there will be a DVD without unrendered footage, one that only has the extras from the SE? I don't really want to see stuff of lesser quality than what I'm used to seeing in Avatar, I think it will ruin my image of it. But I do really want to own a DVD with the 9 minutes of extras from the SE.

It's up for pre-order on Amazon.  Barnes and Noble doesn't even have it listed yet.  Looks like I'll have to get it on Amazon.  I'll tell my mom to order it for me.  LOL  Christmas is right around the corner anyway.
