Here is an idea for people to entertain.

We have been trying to tell people that Learn Na'vi.org exists, but right now, the only way to find it is to Google it, or for someone to tell you it exists.  Well, heres an idea for you.

When you go to see Avatar in IMAX again (because, lets be honest, you will be seeing it at least another 5 times), hand these out to people.

How I would recommend doing this is wait until the movie is finished.  Lets all be honest, we know how it ends, so leave your seat a few minutes early to position yourself outside the door of the theatre, that way as people come out, you are ready to hand out fliers.  I would also recommend doing this after the movie (compared to before) so people don't loose the flyer.  Plus, some people may be so pumped up after seeing it again on such large screens, they may take it just to see what we are.

Keep one thing in mind though, some theatres may have issues with people doing this, so what I would do is go there 2 days early, ask to see the manager, and explain to them why you want to do this.  Tell them that the majority of the people who are coming to see this movie again in IMAX are die hard fans who would LOVE to get their hands on these fliers.  If they say no, try a different theatre (assuming you have more than one IMAX in your area).  If you only have the one theatre there, wear your Learn Na'vi apparel, and if people ask, tell them.

We had some people doing this at the midnight releases of the DVD/BluRay, but since there were so many locations people could go to get the movie, there were only a few fliers handed out.  Since IMAX are few and far between, the likely hood of handing out more fliers is greatly increased.

Once again, ask the management first.  I don't want to hear anything about how you were thrown out of the theatre for doing this.  That is not the publicity we want.

For people who want a black and white version of the fliers, go here.

P.S. The fliers are designed to fit on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of printer paper.  No stretching is needed.  The white boarders around the fliers are there to ensure that none of the page is lost (some printers have issues printing that close to the edge of the page).

Brilliant idea. I stickied it. Hope other mods don't mind.

LN also gets exposure in the press and on Dr. Frommer's blog. But grassroots efforts are the heart of the Na'vi language, so irayo for your idea and help!
I would recommend securing permission from the theater before offering flyers, though. Another good spot to try would be comic book stores. We have some in Houston called Bedrock City that I am going to introduce to the LN flyers.

If we can get the manager to approve, we can give the glasses and the LN tag like it banded with the glasses,or something.. so its like a package kinda.  ;D :D

I have no "bubble" to burst.

What is your source of information that allows you to make a statement like that about Paul's blog?

You're joking, right?

Far be it for me to deny you your sense of importance, but I would offer up for your consideration that the other kids in your school are likely not a complete representative sample of the rest of the world. Indeed, naviteri.org is a narrow focus interest, but it is hardly as irrelevant as your condescending statement asserts.
