The awesome people at Sideshow have a fantastic Neyteri figure for pre-order. The photo gallery includes 25 pics so enjoy. The prototype is pending approval but they do have flex-pay (i.e.staggered payments).

Thank goodness for gallery shot number 24 to show that the pose is not quite a provocative (anatomically revealing) as it first seemed.

The detail is amazing, but it's out of my league. Mind you, just the other day I made a centimeter-ish high squirrel out of sculpey for a friend, so my frame of reference is a bit skewed. It looked like a fish until I put the tail on.

Neytiri's log need more moss. Then I might be swayed.

Very good friends gave me a Rex recently. I've been in love with him since 1995. He's the best. He never changes...  :-*

You really think that the sculptures would make a statue revealing suggestive parts of the Na'vi body?  ;)  Besides, the loincloths that the Na'vi wear don't really cover their backsides well, so I suppose your skepticism is expected.

Like I said, miniature squirrels and plastic dinosaurs are more my frame of reference... and I lived in Japan for 8 years. Their models of lithe young women are RATHER REVEALING.

And, honestly, if I was buying something like this for that cost, I would hope it would be anatomically correct.

Well, yeah, we don't want a Picasso-Neytiri sculpture. ;)

From the Sideshow Collectibles Q&A:

Quote
Q. The Neytiri statue's hairline seems unfinished and not film accurate. She is also missing eyelashes and the hair on her tail (like it is in the film). Is the pictured statue finished, or will these issues be fixed?
A. Indeed, we have added Neytiri's hairy poof on the tip of her tail. No other changes are planned, to either the eyelashes or hairline.

All the Avatar Q&A's are here.

Amazing detail on it though. It looks like they make those "to order".

That looks ( like Prrton said ) amazing! But I don't have the money for it, then I guess I will stay with the pics :P
