So, anyone in LA want to meet Paul Frommer?

http://laserblazer.com/

First 100 people who pre-order Avatar through them get to meet Paul Frommer at a Q&A in LA on the 22nd at 6:30 pm. This was posted on Facebook yesterday though so you can probably get in but who knows how long before that thing sells out (if it hasn't already).

In other news, there's Na'vi on the back of ESPN and a pretty good avatar-ization: http://www.espnmediazone3.com/us/2010/04/jimmy-clausen-on-the-cover-the-back-cover-of-espn-the-magazine/

Pretty damn good actually. Though the fact that they copy-pasted the ears pisses me off hardcore.

I wish I were in LA sigh

High praise on an avatarization from Skxawng! I'll alert the media :) :P

Yeah, I too thought it was pretty damn good, I also noticed that the copy-pasted beaded arm-band looked a little off as well.

Yea, and you can't fly here either, which leaves swimming over here or stowing away on a ship...

I was referencing the ash cloud.

Anybody translated that yet, the only words I can pick out right away are tsamsiyu;warrior and txur;strong, but without looking at the dictionary, i'm clueless.

EDIT-
Broke out the dict. and this is the literal (at least as I read it):
Noble warrior, he is strong, he is ready

We asked Iceland for cash, not ash.

(they are owing Norway money).
