Personally I think that they could hit on the fact that Avatar was an experience that pulled you into Pandora, The message of the movie is increadibly important, but to help pull people back, maybe they can have an advertising campaign that focuses, on going back to that incredible world, and that the adventure is not over, or something like that maybe? The long stretch between films is tough, to bad we are not to the point yet where they could start out the expo with a very, very, small finished "clip" of the sequel that doesnt give anything away, but just raises more questions and spikes interest.

^This.  :D

So a vague "teaser" of some sort? That could work...

Yes, it could work  :)

Yeah - that or forcing people to watch Avatar in 3D before coming into the expo. ;D

A screening of Avatar in 3D as part of the exhibition would do it for me!

Actually I'd probably just go anyway, but I don't expect it will be near me.  :(  :(

After careful consideration I'm torn, on the one hand it's Avatar, on the other this is a world that I have spent considerable time, effort and consideration into researching and then trying to massively interpolate out from (for my fanfic).
I mean, what if I got it all wrong? What if they did?   ???  :-\
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

I have the same problem you do, although I haven't wrote a fanfic yet. I have some very definite ideas on biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, mineralogy, superconductivity, electromagnetics, metallurgy. meteorology and astrodynamics. But this happens in all fictional worlds, and of them, Star Wars seems to be the most diverse. One official storyline and lots of unofficial (and some of it very good) fan fiction.

Here's a link to the official website for Avatar: Discover Pandora -- The Exhibition:

It has its official opening this December in Taiwan.

I'm really excited for this, and I look forward to hearing about where else in the world this exhibition will be traveling to!  :)

This looks like it grew out of the exhibition they had in Seattle and a few other cities. It looks like they did away with a lot of the artifacts and instead concentrated on the environments. I, too look forward to seeing this!

Where have all the expos been, do they move?, I wish I could go but obviously the cost for the distance and being in school doesn't help, I would love to hear about what happens at these things, any insight?

I saw the pictures/videos and read some articles about the previous Exhibition and I think the new one will be pretty cool if it is focused on culture and environment.

Hope that something appears in Europe as well.

It looks like this one is truly international and it may be a while before it shows up in any particular place.

Here's a link to a brief article on the grand opening of "Avatar: Discover Pandora" the Exhibition that took place on Dec 7th:

http://www.avatardiscoverpandora.com/avatar-discover-pandora-opens-today-taipei-taiwan/

So it's going to be a FIVE year global touring exhibition (and it'll be in Taiwan until March 14, 2017).

In one of the photos you can see Jon Landau, Joel David Moore (Norm), and Kathy Franklin from Lightstorm, who were all there at the exhibition's grand opening.  :)

Let's hope it comes here. I'd go to see that too (good reason for meeting of Czech Na'vi fans :))

I'm looking forward to seeing this. It looks right up my alley.
I wonder though, how much of this will also be found at 'World of Pandora' in Disneyworld.
And I liked that the person narrating the video ended with a (partially) Na'vi phrase containing two words not popularized in the film.
