Well, the Irish one was live, and I'm not sure what station it was. The British one is Heart radio, which will be going out tomorrow morning sometime. Not sure yet about Australian.

Meanwhile, getting back on the topic.

Taronyu, do you know of a radio station called Absolute Radio? Its based in Britian and they did interviews with Sam, Sigourney and James when the movie first came out. See if they would be willing to interview you and they do put stuff up as podcasts on iTunes.

Eh, I don't really want to self-advertise myself. Feels kind of weird. But yeah, that might be cool.

Awwww, I didn't notice this thread earlier :(

Anyway, my - late - $0.02: That's great :)

At the end of the day man, most media will throw context out the window and do whatever they want/can to get a better story. But remember, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

So, what's your name now? "Sci-fi Nut", "Loopy Linguistics Student", or "Wacky Richard"?

Looking at some of the other articles on there, they don't seem like the most professional and/or mature paper I've seen.

Have you heard of the sun?  :P

The most immature paper available in the UK by a long shot?

The paper that needs to put topless women on the third page in order to sell?  :P

hrh. Yes, and apparently it's been like this for a long time

That being said, I'm really glad to see that Taronyu's radio interviews were conducted by people a bit more mature.

Hrh... Sorry, I hadn't heard of them before.

Is it more sad that they keep putting this content out? Or that people keep buying it? :)

As long as I've known about them.

What I don't understand is why people buy it. If they buy for page 3 they should get a *ahem* magazine and if they buy it for the news they should get a newspaper.

The sun is like the iPad of newspapers, trying to be everything and coming out nothing.

That is quite possibly the best analogy I've heard in a while.

wake up with a smile not a grunt. start with a smile and dont let anyone take it from you. its your smile. others have thier own they just have yet to find it yet.
never tell someone off. but try to make them see why you are not pleased
look at things from not both sides but from all the sides.
love life because someday the energy that is you. the energy that you have borrowed will be returned.
do not greave for those who have left us. you will see them again and share your laughs once more.

Unfortunately, today's news media have gotten VERY good at taking peoples words far enough out of context to make them sound like idiots.
