I keep listening and listening and getting something like "wäruteya, seya na'vi", but it makes no sense to me.

Also, I still don't get the part before "zene tslivam", also "fya'o kame kifkey" seems also wrong to me.

No other opinions?  :-\

Oeru teya?
It doesn't make sense. I wish I had better listening skills.

Would have to be seyki, but doesn't sound like that...

No. Teya si already means ''to fill''.

That would make sense, but what is the context?

Btw, I'm so gonna buy the show as soon as it's out on BRD/DVD. I won't be able to see it live anyway, so at least I'll be able to watch it at home over and over again, hrh. I'd also love to have these songs on CD or something like that, I already love the music of TORUK.

Ah, taking a more closer look at that sheet, it indeed written "We join ourselves together". Fixed. :)
However, I think, this means the same.

I immediately noticed this interesting word as well. There's a bit of artistic license here, as the 'we' is implied. I'm kind of surprised they didn't use awstengyäperem. Not only is this closer to what they are trying to communicate, but it also fits better into the rhythm of the song.

I think we should all learn this simple and beautiful song, and be ready to sing it to the cast when we all meet up to see the show. It would also be a good song to start the day with during clan gatherings. (The Klingon folks have a song like this they sing at their gatherings. Its even a fairly elaborate song, with a countermelody.)

It's maybe more about a habit (an action they generally do) than an action they're doing right now.

That thought occurred to me, too. The present tense is often implied, but <er> emphasizes an ongoing action,  which is the case here.

I don't get why <er> ('awstengy<äp><er>em) would be better here? "Awnga lu 'aw", "lu 'aw Na'vi", "lu txur awnga", "seykxel sì txur" = all 4 syllables, same as 'awstengyäpem. 'awstengyäperem would have 5 syllables, no? Ke livu me'em.
Also I don't see why they should mean an ongoing action, like right now, I get it as a more general meaning/statement, so <er> is not needed here imho. We join ourselves together VS we're joining ourselves together. What makes you think that it's an ongoing action?

I don't think that <er> should be there. This is a song that more or less tell a story and does not intend to express an ongoing action. I am agree with Eana Unil, btw.

Irayo for posting this, ma Toruk Makto!

So, basically she's Mo'at with just a hint of Ninat?
