SpoilerThis thread is a learning center. You can bring examples here from other places and ask (in any language that you like) freely that folks from the group help so that you can best understand. Non-Na'vi languages are not prohibited in this thread. But, if you can try asking using Na'vi, please, try.

PS: If anyone will volunteer to translate this into other languages, please, send a message to Prrton and he will be responsible to show it here along with English as a spoiler.

SpoilerI'll try to translate this in Na'vi later.
for now:
If you say that with a perfective, it implies that the action was in progress and, finished. That doesn't make sense here. A present or past tense will do.
Remember "ol" is perfective and not past. (If it's really perfective, but that is writen everywere.) The thing is people don't make a difference between past and perfective, but the difference exist. And so, it should not be correct to use a perfective if the action has no importance. When using a perfective without tense, that point the finger on the fact that the action end. Here, "this word finished to come from..". Using a past, make it like "this word came from.." and present "this word come from" which is the more appropriate because the word come from somewhere, without interest in time or the fact it is coming.
When saying "tolaron" well yeah, you finished hunting, it's ok.
When saying "tolaron yerikit", it makes it like you were hunting the yerik particularly and it's finished.
Hope this was clear enough  :P
I know this is not the first time I say that, but I think it IS really cruel to the Na'vi language, lowing a "perfective" to a mere "past", only because we are not used to use perfective tense.

PS: Once again, this is base of the terme perfective being correctly used for "ol"
