VoIP is great for small meetings but it does take quite some organising for larger groups. We have tried this once and it proved difficult for a useful number of members to meet at any one time, if we don't have most of the tribe involved in important discussions then you end up with a small group making executive decisions or simply no decisions. For socializing VoIP would be fantastic, an inter-clan chat room, if it's promoted across both groups it would certainly get used. For decisions making I'd stick to the forum.

Aurora, it would be fantastic if we could locate the clans in the same region, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up more towards subtropical so I wouldn't rule it out entirely. We are planning on a RL meeting but it hasn't been a priority, a common meeting would certainly be worthwhile. I can't see this happening in under a year though, it would be most useful when we need to finalize location (as in purchase land) or possibly before beginning fund raising (the first point of any definite, real world commitment).

Kaltxì, Tsyal! It's great to see more revolutionists joining now. See, now this is progress!

Welcome Tsyal.

Hopefully with us working together now either clan can prop up the other if they are falling behind a bit, keep each other going. Hopefully at the same rate, competition always helps.

YEEE-WOW! In the two weeks of my absence, this has come on a lot. Collaboration is good, no question.
So let's see:

The two tribes would rather not merge;
Happy to work together for research and advice;
Use the revolutionists' wiki;
and hopefully set up some kind of better contact!

All good things. Also a point I noticed earlier: in order to avoid major stigma, I agree that we should indeed avoid too much Avatar references. However, many organisations that are in some ways similar to this idea often have some sort of patron who was in the past a member of a tribal community.

As for meetups, is annoying as I live in the Uk and there are very few (hmm, actually none at all) tribal members in the country. Perhaps if I get time off from university I can nip over to the states...

I'm a bit tied up too, I'm just starting my A levels, so in about a week I'll be quite busy. That is presuming I haven't failed my GCSEs completely. :-\ I hope that is unlikely though!

Yes, have fun with those. Weirdly, despite my AS levels being alright, my school is giving me grief. Seems like nothing but the best is needed nowadays!
Hopefully you'll do better than me.
