Hey, I would like to be a part of a permanant tribe.
Maybe we could host the summer camp tribes as well.
That way we wouldn't have to get two seperate places and we will all be able to meet up and the place would be in good repair all of the time for the summer tribe because we would be there the rest of the time.
What do you think?

I'm not a moderator, but for the topic of non perm, camps you should post to Na'vi vacation retreat by me Tirey Hawnuyu

No. That was a suggestion for this tribe. Technically for both tribes but thats semantics.

i was looking through you tube for a pretty good instruction video on how to make bows and i found one

http://www.youtube.com/user/johnjayrambo11111#p/u/128/w0l77kisSYw its a yew bow and he makes it in 5 steps.

and i was looking through this post and it seems as if were not getting much done in the way of actually planning the tribe ( i might be wrong and its partailly my fault) but dont we need to know about really basic things like food and water and a good supply of fuel (by that i mean wood) before going into the really nitty gritty of it

Yes, and that goes into the location. The location will be in a forest, hopefully next to a river, and it should have a lot of animals for food.

Don't worry, we're figuring it out. :)

You guys are all very much awesome ^^

Not too much to discuss today, lol.  My bow is coming along nicely ^^
Had an interesting night last night.  Lots of drama around the firehouse.  But, hey its all cleared up now. ^^

Yep, somewhere warm, in a forest, plenty of territory and animals to hunt.  A river abounding with fish.  Plenty of trees for shelter and dry wood for our fires.  Good, strong trees that will make wonderful bows.
Hey, maybe we can even get a nice big tree like Kelutral ;]

Please PM me if you are still interested in the real Na'vi tribe.

I live in Vancouver, Canada. and as long as your by the coast winters are much milder than farther in or up the mountains, also global warming seems to be doing its part  :P are you guys having a very mild winter too?

Seriously. Besides the fact that there was a blizzard during the climate change conference.

Now they're talking about a mini ice-age happening.

Looking at how accurate they've been so far, nothing's going to happen, ever.

Its really just statistics, points of a graph, and looking at past trends. Nothing is certain. Anyway back on track, coastal areas have milder temperatures, but a higher risk of storms. Also this should really be discussed of the location thread.

Well, that's because you live there. I live in California, and going there would be very cold to me. :P

That's why I think that the best bet would be to make local, smaller tribes. Have a big meetup once per year or so so that there is a sense of a greater community. Finding one place that is going to suit everyone's needs is going to be impossible.

Ikranä mokri

i just noticed that this has totally digressed into the location of it. shouldnt we be plannign esentials of what we need although we do need to have and i dea of where were going but we arent doing for 4 years right ??
