Simple knowledge of CPR will trump the novelty of a defibrillator. It's just too dangerous in its self to consider when any type of injury we could sustain necessitating its use that arose from everyday tribal activities can be absolved with CPR. I am trained and i believe everyone here should get training in at least some CPR.

I can't imagine a bunch of people in tribal clothes using a defibrillator. It's just too ridiculous to imagine.

We need to look past ridiculous and see practical. I'm not favoring either idea at the point, I'm just saying it doesn't matter how ridiculous the idea seems. All that matters is if it works.

I know if it's practical, it's worth it, but that doesn't change that I can't imagine a bunch of people living in the forest with a defibrillator.

what injury could i possibly get that would render a defib useful in a tribal setting?

don't say drowning because then the best approach is most certainly CPR.

Well, it would all depend on what those who have actual Medical experience say we should bring- I know that Unil Txep is actually studying to become an EMT and has already volunteered to become a Healer for the Tribe. Just saying, maybe we need a better judge of what we need.

Thats cool, I did not know that.

And I just realized that Unil Txep is updating the profile topics. Didn't know that either.
