Exactly although I think there should also be some kind of ceremnony for people joining the village as well so that they also feel like part of the community

A ceremony, with party? ;) My marching band had an initiation ceremony at band camp. I felt like a nobody, and like i could just be sh** on by anyone but when the end of the week came around and they took all the freshmen to this surprise ceremony, it made me feel great. ;D

We walked on a forest trail lead by the seniors that had chosen us through our fellow band mates that had formed a sort of tunnel while they sang the Alma mater all holding candles. When we all reached the end we formed a circle and the senior band mates formed a circle around us. Our band director got in the middle and said a speech about how well the week had gone and how we would always be appreciated and accepted members. At the end everyone threw their candles into a bonfire. And then we partied! :D

So, because just reminiscing on that made me feel so good about my band mates, i would say it would be a good move on all fronts for us to develop some sort of ceremony.

I don't know about you guys but for me it's got to be the initiation ceremony from the film, you know with the body paint and all that. That scene was amazing

that's what I initially thought of but i wouldn't put it past fox to try and sue us ::). we'd have to play "becoming one of "The People" in the background

Nah not if we just do it within our community, if we televised it or something then maybe
join our real life tribe! here(And yes, it will be a real tribe in the real world, not a role play tribe)

And then at the end we all surround the initiate/s and pray for them in our respective religions laying hands on each other. I can visualize it; it would be very intimate and beautiful for everyone involved.

So it's currently swinging towards  village huh, interesting I was going to remain neutral and see what happens as I believe they should be mutually inclusive of each other but then preserving the balance would be most in line with my views.

So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
