Book 2 Prelim Editing
« on: February 09, 2010, 03:10:04 am »
Ok, so while im trying to edit book 1 (/wrists), im also trying to jump start in on book 2. I have two chapters so far, and I wanted to share them with you guys, and see if you liked it, hated, it whatever. Whatever the format we decide here to use, is the one im using for book 1 as well.

Document Here!

So let me know what you think! There are a few posts i broke up, since we tend to post bulk information, so sometimes it needs to happen. I also added in a few words, just to make "cut and rearranged" posts fit together. Comments needed, I need to know how you guys want this done.

Good work so far Nume, this is going to kick ass when it's done. And when you finish book 1, it'll be a lot easyer to read besides archive bindging though the origional threads...

Ok, so I'll leave this open till late tonight, and if no one objects, I'm going to go with the same basic layout you see here, grouping chapters together based on events/time/location and breaking them up. Also, times will change, you'll notice i took most of the times out of location posts, and even only left locations in chapter 1 to signify a change of setting. Character changes within chapters will be noted by the use of

And I'll try to blend it together as best I can. As far as help goes, since I'm not sure of the format I want to use yet, I really don't know how you could help. If I think of a way, I'll post it in the Book 1 area.

Hmm... I wonder if I can print and bind this book as a project in graphic arts. I'll have a one of a kind book!

I edited in Chris' Australian accent into my posts, and so I need to email them to him.

Yeah mate, you got it. I also recorded a (very bad) narration in a (very bad) Aussie accent and put it into my posts.

Thet's royt, ye gawtta make sure ye gets it dawn pat, er ye'll soun' like some yob et's 'ad a few too many pints.

After all, overdo it with the "mate" and you sound more like a pirate. Yarr! Just say the line out loud in a nice Paul Hogan (although his persona is kind of a Yobo and a real Auzzie'd skin me for using him as an example) and then write it as it sounds.

Heehee. Nice one, Coyote.
San, I noticed a lot of that "mate" in one of the posts, literally every one of his lines... lol.  But still, I like the idea.  Because, as you know, accents are hot ;]

Haha, it's getting better. I spent a whole weekend speaking with it. And it got stuck, might I add.
