Yes, I have your e-mail. I know there are a lot of lines being developed, did you get my PM Coyote?

I did, and I didn't know Alex felt... that way. Innnteresting. We can develop this in PM, I just wanted to reply to this in pubic to help ramp up speculation, tension, and let people wonder, etc. 'Cause I'm evil that way.  ;)

Started some more sketches today. The one I wanted to do, with Chris & Arik charging into battle on the road to the Tree of Souls as Tireamokri and Eanataw cover them with bows, didn't turn out so well-- in order to get good detail on the guys, the women were pushed to either side and looked scrunched. Putting them behind Chris & Arik made them seem less important, which was definitely not what I wanted.

So I'll do two pix: one of Chris & Arik charging into battle (mostly done) and then another of Tireamokri and Eanataw firing bows, looking seriously hardcore and determined.

I still want to do the arm-wrestling with Alex & Nef'Tys, and I also want to do one of Na'ama's Avatar immediately after she shot the ground crewer.

Maybe a landscape of the Dragon making it's escape into the vortex region...

But there are more coming, I just ran into a snag with the layout of one. Otherwise I was hoping to get at least one posted tonight. But nope.

BTW, any thought to putting the sketches in the finished/edited and cleaned up book?

If you want, I can "ink" them in photoshop, maybe even color them.

I can handle a "book" if you will. But Nume should put it in with the book.

If you want, I can "ink" them in photoshop, maybe even color them.

You are welcome to give it a try, but I know from my own experience that doing that can be a royal pain. I did all the shading in pnecil, which will mean millions of little areas that need to be filled in individually... the inking technique might work, though.

But don't get too wrapped up with it; if it doesn't work I say forget it. They are supposed to appear as quick illustrations done "in the field" by people who were on site or heard about events afterwards-- like pictures drawn hastily in sketchbooks by soldiers during war, for example.

And, okay, Sänumeyu, how did you do that awesome translation-thingy with your post?  :o 8)

Good choice on the time Jacko.

I'm currently trying to run on the idea of Jax's 'natrual' clock, but implimating it is a bit difficult.

Right-o

Try not to boot the time too far for the next hour or so, I'm gonna go grab my Ghillie suit. 'Dusk' or 'Sunset' should give me enough leeway.

EDIT: Another post up, I'm on FIRE!
Can't be arsed doin much more tonight, I'll do the 'flying' post tomorrow. Gimme a heads up before you skip a few days, I'll need to think of an excuse.

You're really hung up on that, aren't you mate? You just use the [ desc= ][/ desc ] tags.

Chris is pretty fluent in Na'vi. There will have to be broken English spots, but otherwise, it will be mostly Na'vi.

That rocks. Yeah, I recently found the announcement in the News & Announcements threads. Awesome. That adds a lot of possibilities besides translation; now if a character is saying one thing but thinking something else --a lie, a fast-talk of some sort-- that can be used to give insight.... hmmm....  ;)

I edited some of my dialogue (and translated to Na'vi where I could) in my post. You can change it by looking in my previous post.
