Remember the part about Zelenal saving a Na'vi in his backstory? I was planning on using that for the Omatikayans (yes, we will talk to Jake and Neytiri at some point) but I can use it for them.

right the basics on the paysiswotulu clan

Clan name: paysiswotulu clan
Tsahìk: Tsawatay te Rimaw
eyktan: txura tsamsiyu

the paysiswotulu clan live in a small village hidden among
the forests of pandora. the whole village is built on branches
and they very rarely stay on the ground for anything other than
hunting or to prey at a sacred tree that is situated on a small island
in the center of a river. they do not hunt with ikran as there are few
mountain ikran near them. only the best hunters are allowed to bon with
an ikran. the clan has very little contact with the outside world and refuse
to use any weapons other than the bow. a child becomes a man/woman when they go
on a great hunt where they must spend a month away from the tribe and then must
return with an animal they have hunted and killed themselves. if they fail to
return with an animal they have to stay as a child for another year when the
next great hunt will begin. the tribe does not trust outsiders however often
will let ones with no other place to go join them but they must go through
the great hunt before they are fully trusted.

I noticed something, besides the grammar, about the great hunt, why a month? Are the animals so far away?

they also have to prove they can survive for a month on their own

Why do they need to prove that? They live in a village so they don't need that skill.

it is just to prove how skilled you are
if you have learned everything then you will do well
but if you did not then it will show

its just a trial to show how good you are
