2011 Writing Contest Entries
« on: January 01, 2012, 12:52:43 am »
Even if you didn't win, we'd all love to see what you wrote.  Or even if you can still find your entry from 2010 and want to post that here; if you meant your piece of writing for the contest, feel free to join this group thread.  Also, you can post your work separately as its own board topic, if you'd rather, and I'll make sure a link to it appears in this thread. :D

I'll start off with a poem that I toyed with but wound up not submitting, because I couldn't resist rhyming my own name.  It's hard to remain anonymous when you do that. ;)

Wou this is really good! :D

Edit: I'm not sure if this thread seems like the place to put just any na'vi literature; I'd put contest entries, or stuff that was meant to be entered but was either too late or the author had doubt. The rest of all na'vi literature maybe should be put in its own thread inside this board outside this thread, kefyak? Just my thought.what do you say ma Alyara?

Yes, I completely agree with you on this, and I hope I made that more clear with my last edit.
Also, irayo nìtxan ma Tirea!  I'm always glad when someone enjoys my writing. :D :-* :D

Cool. I would post a piece here but nìawnomum I was judging ha tafral oe didn't submit anything to the contest. I did not participate in 2010. Maybe I will submit something in 2012 if I am not judging ;-)

Just throwin' in this link...

Thanks.  I thought to do that about an hour after I logged out, about 20 minutes after I went to bed, and about 1/2 a second before I fell asleep. :-[

Also, from 2010, the second place winners and first prize winners.  My belated congratulations to them as well. :)

Great! Very nice poem, but when I read again your contest work after seeing your explanation, I was out of mind. So long poem in hayku form and all rhymed... I must say it again:

Technically not a contest entry, but definitely a worthy one if it could've been submitted in time :D
