Cutting in with English, to make it easier (for me!).
I mean to say: spreading stories, spreading knowledge, etc.

'fwa' is mentioned as "that" in the dictionary, which makes me interpret your version as: that to spread stories is important to me. Somehow that does not "feel" the same as "spreading". I selected the "tì"-versions on purpose, as that (afaik) turns a verb in the verb-ing form.

I do see the improvement with "tsranten", for some reason I missed that verb.  :-\

Tì- is a noun-forming prefix, but it's not productive. The "-ing form" (aka gerund) is formed using tì- <us>, however Na'vi gerunds can't take arguments (i.e. objects), so *tìvusirä ayvurit is incorrect. Usually such cases are handled with "fwa/futa/furia [verb+object]", so the best way to translate fwa virä ayvurit, tsranten oer would be exactly "spreading stories matters to me."

Ahhh, I see. I shall copy all of this into my grammar-etc-document, which is more reliable on these things than my head. Irayo si ngaru.

Here is worth to say: translate meaning, not words (golden rule I break sometimes too, I'm afraid...)

Good poem, ma Puvomun. First strophe makes me think about Nanowrimo - I know you have big experience in this field :)
