In all honesty, the reason we even have writing is because it is a literal transcript of the spoken Na'vi. that's why the spelling is so remarkably consistent.

That's why I'd prefer ayoang, I feel more comfortable pronouncing it this way. However since Pawl has approved ayioang, I think we should probably stick to it... at least when we spell it.

Alyara proposed that since payoang was made of pay ioang, what would (phonetically) be the difference between payoang and ayoang? I saw it as a good point.

Why apologize? You did raise a good point there. :)

Perhaps it may even find its way into a new thread in intermediate to be discussed further. (But of course in the end, Paul would have to confirm or deny the point made.)

Kaltxì, ma eylan. :)  Irayo to everyone who reads this and extra special thanks to Tirea Aean for letting me play with his characters. :D  I have added a few lines to the story, and will continue to do so, hopefully on a regular basis. ;D  I have also followed the established pattern for this #vur, so it should be tweetable if you want to go to the trouble, ma Tirea Aean. ;)

I'm writing in navy now to indicate that Tirea Aean hasn't even seen this part.  Does the color annoy anyone?

'ä' :-[ typo.  Ulte sran, by "nivi" I mean hammock.  I know it's not an official word, but I decided to use it anyway since it doesn't break any linguistic rules. :)
