OP, I have curiosity as to the meaning behind this poem and its motivation, but wouldn't ask due to fear of that being too imposing or being all up in your business.

Indeed, as I read it again, it seems not so happy.

Is there a rule that I don't know about forbidding the use of leyken here?  I would say:
