Haha. Kinda off topic but not really: My BF plays Tuba and I transposed this song down for hima nd he played it and then he looked at me with the straitest face and said 'It's like fat people ridding a carpet...' I died laughing.

There, I made a lot of updates and changed some of the words to match new words that we've gotten. Changed a few things also to make it match the original melody better. There's plenty of things that I'm sure could be improved on and to keep it matching the melody there's a lot of grammatical omissions but it's pretty close to correct.

I tried really hard but I just couldn't figure out
where the words match up to the melody in some parts...
so many syllables...
but I was able to give a go at the chorus

Here's exactly what I recorded:
mipa kifkey
mipa fya'o a kame fìtseng <- the "e" on fitseng is optional isn't it?
kawtu peng oeng kehe
fu ne tsatseng kä
fu lu oeng unil seri <- I found it easier to sing when I switched lu and oeng
mipa kifkey
lora tseng a oe kawkrr omum <- same here about the "e" on tseng
slä krrpe oe 'em tseng
tsaw leiu law
tsnì oe lu mì mipa kifkey ngahu

Grammar stuff:

For omum, the infix goes before the first o, not after, so o<am>mum is incorrect. But I couldn't figure out how to pronounce that whole amomum anyway so I just recorded it as omum D: ngaytxoa...

The krrpe is incorrect because it means "what time" as a question. I believe the correct thing to put there is a krr.

The tsaw...tsnì could be replaced by a single fwa. I know "leiu law fwa oe lu mì mipa kifkey ngahu" is correct but I've never seen someone write "tsaw leiu law tsnì oe lu mì mipa kifkey ngahu" ...but that doesn't mean its wrong, I might just be new to the construction.

What's the final version? – if it's this then there are a few mistakes in it that we simply didn't know back then but that have become clear by now (e.g. no ergative with tsun => oe tsun kifkeyti wivìntxu ngaru)
