'awkrr mì zìzìt hasey (Once Upon a December - Translated Song!)

Kaltxì frapo!

So, Hysvear and I were bored, and there was nothing to do, so we translated Once Upon a December from Anastasia into Na'vi.
We've probably got grammar-related errors coming out the wazoo on this translation, so be gentle xD

We're thinking about doing a recording of the song in Na'vi, which will be pretty rad. We'll probably post the link when we get around to it, 'cause it's going to take a while to get used to the timing of the Na'vi words vs. the English ones.
EDIT: I also just realized I didn't put what the literal Na'vi translation is, but it's the crack of dawn and I am tired, and thusly shall do it later. ^^'

Okay. Now we have two unsingable versions of very beautiful song... And that corrected one is less singable. But... Now we can make it singable.

Srane, nìtxan lora tìrol.
Problem is in very different length of words in both languages, they should be carefully shortened in Na'vi to follow melody.
I think you are on the right way ma Hemmond. It would be really nice if some experient Na'vi tute was able to rewrite this beautifull text into singable form.

Little big problem - it sounds well, problems tends to be big by default

Some Na'vi words are too long, what about these changes:
tuteol -> pol, or maybe fkol
lemweypey -> tìsom or som
Does it help at least a little?

Mllte, it can be sung, but Na'vi text doesn't fit into melody - there are some places, where english is twice shorter than Na'vi. Try to sing with music, some parts are problematic (for example beginning of the song). Without music it is better, I think, but not so much (if you want to follow melody)

That sounds like the ancient shamanic woodoo magic.

But it's too fast for this song... We need to cut few the syllables. It's singable but it don't fit into the melody...
