I translated a part of a Christmas song into Na'vi:

Eywa zera'u Kelutralne  ;D
(Sena Klaz zera'u Kelutralne)

Nga sìltsan nì'ul nari si.
Nga sìltsan nì'ul ke tsngawvìk.
Sìlstan nì'ul hangham,
Oe perlltxe ngaru lun.
Eywa zera'u Kelutralne.

Very nice, is there any link to original? Some small corrections are needed, but still good work :)

Nga nìltsan nì'ul nari si -> Be more careful (sìltsan is adjective, but we need adverb here)
Nga sìltsan nì'ul rä'ä tsngawvìk. -> Do not weep more (here I'm not sure if I caught meaning well, so original would be useful)
Nìltsan nì'ul hangham -> Laugh more (same as first line)
Oel perlltxe pereng ngaru lunit.
Eywa zera'u Kelutralne.
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.
"Oe tasyätxaw ulte koren za'u oehu" (Limonádový Joe)

I would use sweylu txo and not "nìltsan nì'ul" ("you Better / better not... " is surely an idiom)

Also, I would definitely not misuse the name of Eywa. Instead, loan the proper name Sänta Kìloz(ì) or something.

Yay for more Na'vified Christmas songs! :D

From French song:
Oe stamawm oeyä sa'nuti kaynam, perom Sänta Kìloz.  ;D
(I heard my mom yesterday night, kissing Santa Claus.)

Based on original text, "sweylu txo" is really better:
You better watch out -> Sweylu txo nga nari sivi
You better not cry   -> Sweylu txo nga rä'ä tsngivawvìk. Here is question, if it is command or not, so if to use rä'ä or ke ???
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.

well... "you should [not]..." or "it's best..." are never really commands anyway. Always a suggestion or a statement of what is best.

if you want command, use command form without  sweylu. original song imo is not commands but suggestions based on what action is better or best.

I didn't remember I was the official translator of that song. :o

I will finish the job. ;)

With what happened in Avatar, I think you're right. Well, if humans still observe Christmas in 2154...
