This works pretty well if you elide adjacent identical vowels from different words together, and always pronounce oe as one syllable.

Oh, great! A long long ago I had idea to translate this song, but somehow it was forgotten. So I'm happy that another person did it.

I see it wasn't easy.

Related to singability, I'm not sure, I'm bad at singing. But perhaps you could try to sing a few lines

And a few language notes:
Fra'ut oer terìng ngal wrrpa, mìfa... keng
Srak syaw oer ngal fa tstxo? - syaw is intransitive, so no need of case endings. Same also at the end:
Srak syayaw oer ngal?

Anyway - perfect job!

Thanks ma BE. Fixed now. Something had been bothering me about that construction, but the simple "it's not transitive" somehow escaped me.

To sing it, I'd have to shift it up about an octave and I'm afraid it would sound silly that high, but maybe I will try at least a few lines anyway. $:-\$
