Sadness of copyright restrictions in Germany.  I'll post the English lyrics for you, and also the original video, although that probably won't be helpful to you, unfortunately. :(

Billie Myers - Kiss The Rain

Kiss The Rain lyrics
Hello
Can you hear me?
Am I gettin' through to you?
Hello
Is it late there?
There's a laughter on the line
Are you sure you're there alone?
Cause I'm
Tryin' to explain
Somethin's wrong
Ya just don't sound the same
Why don't you
Why don't you
Go outside
Go outside
Kiss the rain
Whenever you need me
Kiss the rain
Whenever I'm gone, too long.
If your lips
Feel lonely and thirsty
Kiss the rain
And wait for the dawn.
Keep in mind
We're under the same sky
And the nights
As empty for me, as for you
If ya feel
You can't wait till morinin'
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Hello
Do you miss me?
I hear you say you do
But not the way I'm missin' you
What's new?
How's the weather?
Is it stormy where you are?
Cause you sound so close but it feels like you're so far
Oh would it mean anything
If you knew
What I'm left imagining
In my mind
In my mind
Would you go
Would you go
Kiss the rain
And you'd fall over me
Think of me
Think of me
Think of me
Only me
Kiss the rain
Whenever you need me
Kiss the rain
Whenever I'm gone too long
If your lips
Feel hungry and tempted
Kiss the rain
and wait for the dawn
Keep in mind
We're under the same skies
And the nights
As empty for me, as for you
If you feel
You can't wait till mororning
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Kiss the rain
Oooooohhhhh
Kiss the rain
Oooooohhhhh
Kiss the rain
Hello
Can ya hear me?
Can ya hear me?
Can ya hear me?

Well, I reworded a little to make it easier to sing, and recorded it.  Warning: this is really rough!  Anyone who would like to fix it, by which I mean make one that doesn't suck, please feel free. :)

Tompat Pom

Edit:  slightly better, and final, version for me.  Again, anyone who wants to give it a try is welcome.

This version is new and improved. 8)  Thanks to you both and Blue Elf for inspiring me to work a little harder at doing a good job. :-*

This is the acoustic version.  I think it's greatly improved, but whether it is or not, this is my final attempt.

Sooo, I tried too, here's half of the song
[smg id=4621 type=av]
Result is not too good, seems that my microphone can't do any miracles with my voice. Also background voice is hard to remove, so take it just as attempt. Of course I can't compete with Alyara's beautiful voice...

It makes me so happy that you like this song enough to try recording it yourself!  :D  Some tricks that I used: don't try to sing loudly, just turn the volume up on the vocal track; if you're having trouble holding a strung out note like in "ngä-hä-zìk", make a separate track for those times to be sure that you have enough breath left; and if your voice seems thin, add a duplicate track, so that you're singing softly with yourself. ;D
