Since I'm going to be putting a little info booklet into the jewel case I think that the inglisi translations for steyki and fpoma samsiyu are really in need...thanks.

By the way, if I don't understand wrong Steyki is about Tirea Aean bidding kìyevame to the entire Avatar community and declaring himself a non-Na'vi and the "LeL-NeN" people "akawng"?  >:( Probably oeyä lì'fya leNa'vi akawng nìtxan lu, so I don't think that I got the gist correctly?

good sir, where in the song did I say that? Also, no text file for English exists for that song. ;D

I'll have you know, I wrote that and recorded it around the time when I had to back off my activity on the forum for the sake of school.

the message was IN NO WAY saying that the community pissed me off and that yall are bad. SERIOUSLY? ???

the message was I love when yall want learning, but it pisses me off that I wont be there (to assist in that area, until I return).

I was trying to translate Fpomä samsiyu into English, however there were some difficulties with text. I asked Talis for help, but he answered only some of my questions. So translation exist, but is not finished. See this post and answer of Talis.
As for Steyki, I have Czech translation, so I would be able to create English one as well, if you are interested. I'll try to do it until next Thursday, then I leave for holiday.

I just finished my translation of Fpomä Samsiyu, but there might be some mistakes in it.

They often sat near the lake and the campfire,
They wanted to live, prefer this way.
Now the new way of the Germans doesn’t fill them (with joy),
They are released with song and music.
Concerning their appearance they aren’t captive,
They, who (are) without evil, showed seeds of the great tree.

It is good, they are brave.

Their brains aren’t thinking about the evil skypeople, (Their brains don't have about the skypeople...)
Their brains aren’t thinkin about the scream “war”. (Their brains don't have about the scream "war".)
Why have they changed the lands of the fathers?
Everyone wants war and passes by the rule.
Now do, release/free Pandora,
Stop being quiet and stand a bit more.

They are brave, it is good.

Then maybe tomorrow will start new and beautiful days,
Maybe tomorrow are the evil spirits scared.

There are the war party’s bows and arrows,
And everything that can kill everyone.
They cause to change all bows and arrows, so that those
Never again kill someone.
And they brought food of the clan,
Brought to the "away pushers".

It is good, they are brave.

They strongly believe the evil war ends,
They believe that harm will make you smart.
They strongly believe that, while they are going to die.
They believe that, before one strikes them.
And that fear of pain is so strong,
So they betray a good friend.

I understand well, I understand well.

Then maybe tomorrow will start new and beautiful days,
Maybe tomorrow are the evil spirits scared.

Until today this ugly picture didn’t change,
I almost want to say “look out!”.
The clan leader is an evil dreamwalker.
A few people prefer a complete war.
But I see many people, that
Wisely show the destroyed bows.

Be brave, be brave!

And then tomorrow will start new and beautiful days,
And tomorrow are the evil spirits scared.

Compared to my version, both seem to be nearly the same :) You only missing first line in the first strophe

If you want Steyki, I can create the English translation. As you may know by now, it was not written in English and translated, but simply thought of and written in Na'vi to begin with.

I'll be right back with that. <to be edited>

You're right.... forgot to copy it in :P
I hadn't seen your version until you mentioned it and that was while I was translating so... I changed a few things you had translated better in my version. First line will be edited in...

I figured since I wrote it to begin with, why not translate it just in case if someone else translated it, there might be a minor mis-interpretation. ;)

He indeed says Kiyevame to the community, but not in a bad way I think... The first line, as far as I can understand, isn't that "hatefull": Lu yawne oer ayngay.

Oh, what about Das Lied über die Geschichte von Avatar?
That one is about 8 minutes long...

I think that there is a non-official translation for that in its thread.

Edit: I think that I got it in the list...

FYI, fpomä tsamsiyu is also not an original song. The original is called and is an anti-NAZI song about a group of people who fought against the regime.

Talis, Kìfkey’Tìranyu and I have said it time and time again ;) Be careful with correct meaning in The Song about the Story of Avatar and early projects like Fkewa tsamsiyu. Our knowledge of the language and vocabulary was very limited back then. So mistakes and misuses of grammar as well as vocab are bound to happen ;)

Also, Talis had issues to publish Tutan Akoak openly because of copyright issues.

Folklore (or common known songs such as Edelweißpiraten) seems to be better for using music etc. That’s why I focused on Irish folk songs for my translations. They may not be that well-known but at least it’s ‘safe’ to use the music and create our own recording.

Nevertheless, kudos for the project ;) I have created a folder myself on my iPod with every music bit nìNa’vi I could find ;)

But fpomä samsiyu has a different accompaniment...so it sounds like a different song.

So okay, I'll not be putting Tutan aKoak in.

However Song about Avatar is really a good song and musically speaking one of the best we have here that is totally original (or is it?). Yeah, the Na'vi is a bit bad, but it is a song, right? And let's just say it is Old High Na'vi  ;D

Yes, there are many mistakes, but they're still very good songs!

That's sad - for me it is probably the best song nìNa'vi and without it CD will be a little incomplete....

The sound quality is a bit bad  ;) However I can try the trick I did with Txon aMawey: duplicate, make two attenuated tracks 2x and 3x the original frequency and then add it back. It will restore some harmonics, but it may sound like you are singing a chorus with two babies, one even severely out of tune. Txon aMawey works well with my trick because the instruments cover up the baby sounds, but I'll try that with yours...  ;D

Not an offense to him, but Ftafpi seems to be messing up the song. Since the clips are seperately recorded, he sometimes sings a bit faster or slower than you do, and his mic to your mic bad is.

Never mind, I've remixed the song and it sounds...much better now. Turned out that it was ngeyä mic that was generating the noise and not Ftafpi's...

Yeah, my mic was a bit shocking. I have a nicer one now, but it's still not that great. I have source audio as well if you want to clean it up from that?

IMHO we should exclude only songs, which can have problems with copyrights (unfortunately like Tutan Akoak before). And FYI I didn't added Lora Syulang into my list because it wasn't finished and seems, that still it isn't finished (and I'm afraid, that here can be collision with copyrights too)... As for the CD itself, I'd recomend to put a songbook with lyrics inside. :) I'll look more professional. :) And anyone can sing with the CD. :) As for a cappella songs, I'd put them in too... :) And it woudn't be bad if the list of songs inside in the OP will be edited to be accurate. I think Tutan Akoak is still in the list even when we "discarded" him as copyright collision.
