Kame ayngat ma tìrolä eylan. Oe fparmìl teri 'uo na "Rol Pongu".
Sutel kan'ìn tsat srak?

Oeyä säfpìl (nì'Ìnglìsì :P) :

All different kinds of people (old, young, from every country, speaking all different languages), joined together in one group, singing songs in the beautiful Na'vi language. We'll sing known (translated) songs or songs from other Na'vi singers with some adaptions: we'll sing a capella songs, or with piano accompaniments. If we find enough members, we will set a date and time to have rehearsal-like meetings through TeamSpeak or Skype.

If you are interested, don't hesitate and send me a Personal Message or leave something below.

Aymokriri ayngeyä, nawma sa'nok lrrtok sivi.

Eyawng te Klltepayu

I would if I could sing. Great for those that have a good singing voice though!
Please tell me if you see mistakes in a Na'vi post of mine. It's the only way I'll learn. :P

I'm kinda the opposite: write good music, but not so much with lyrics/voice :P

I think it's a great idea, but I can't sing at all. :( Sorry.  Hope you find a person/group, though. :D

A few reactions, too bad. But well, there must be people that do want to join in, right?

Talis

well... I'm singing and feel happy about it, but I'm not sure if I could manage to be there in TS because I got less time, that's why I didn't write, sorry for that.

You don't have to be in TS every time, we won't be able to practise all at the same time because of the delay on TS. What I wanted to do is record the entire rehearsal and then cut all the participators individually and lay them over each other to create the song as it would sound like we were all singing at the same time. Then for the real recordings we won't use TS because of the bad quality, then everyone sings his/her own part and I will put them together into one song.

It would be great to have you around, you have the most experience singing in Na'vi.

Note: my DAW can denoise whatever is recorded in TS, provided a little bit of raw mic noise is included, so there's no worries there :)

Secondly, I don't believe TS is the issue for recording.  It's our mics.

I will send you an information-PM very soon!

I think, that the best way to make a song is, when someone, who'll know all the song, will sing it, then others will make their own parts with record they got from the first one... And then the first one will make only his part as well... so timing will fit... and everyone can make it in his/her spare time. :) And TS/Skype discussions will only be: what to sink, who will sing what, how etc... I'm interested, but I'm afraid, that I haven't got much time now... I've to get better at school... But I'll be watching this thread. If there will be something, what I can do, I'll tell you. :) I used to play the piano, I'm playing the guitar (beginner at it) and I can sing some parts...

I can also help with the song in the form of instruments; I play guitar. once we know the tune of the song, I can string together (no pun intended ;P) some chords to make it a full song.

is this something the singers will have to figure out the tune themselves? because, there's this weird thing I have with my voice- I cannot sing, at all, unless I am having someone sing with me; either the singer of the song or a friend. *shrug* so, if we are supposed to sing our own tune, I couldn't do it. I'd have to wait until the entire song has been sung by at least one person so I could add my voice.

until then, however, I am, like previously mentioned, able to put together chords for the song; so that it is more than just singing.

I have put the project on hold for a little time because my school didn't get much attention. :-[ And that was visible in my grades...
But I'm planning to get started soon and it would be great if you would like to join in.

For every song we are going to do, I will try to make music sheets. That means that you can either play the correct tones on your guitar or on a online keyboard or something, or you can sing together with someone who has got the same notes as you.
