The Psycology Behind Jealousy in a Relationship

I'm not sure how much anybody will be able to help but I figured I might as well post and ask!

I am doing my senior thesis for english on the Psycology Behind Jealousy in a Relationship, fueled mostly be my boyfriends jealousy issues. 

I have to have a 'mentor' who is basically just someone who is in the field and knows a lot of info that I can bounce ideas and stuff off.  We're supposed to meet at least five times, some of which can be electronic.  I have had serious issues finding a mentor and if someone here is a relationship therapist or psycoanalist that wouldn't mind helping me out, I could ask if they could all be elctronic.

Anyway, I am also having a hard time finding good statistics dealing with jealousyt so any citable info anyone may have could be seriously helpful.
