Kaltxì, I am have only been learning Na'vi for a few days now, and I have a question about the infix positions in compound verbs. My example is the verb 'awstengyem, composed of the adverb 'awsiteng and the verb yem. What I am wondering is if the infix positions are all in the yem part of the verb or if they are as in a normal verb for 'awstengyem.

Kaltxì ma smuk.  When a verb is actually made up of several words put together, the infixes go only in the main verb at the end of the word.  So, for your example, the infixes go here: 'awstengy•em.  Some other examples are yomtìng (yomt•ìng), maweypey (maweyp•ey), and ralpeng (ralp•eng).  Taronyu's dictionary (here) does a good job of marking the infix positions.
