its about the verb taron( hunt)

<iv>: [iv] W subjunctive mood verbal infix
in position 2: Nga kame futa oe
t<iv>aron. You see that I hunt.

some one told me that subjunctive it's any clause which isn't the main clause.

so if i got it right "I hunt" is not the the main clause but "you see" is for that taron will get the infix <iv>?

cause You see that "i hunt" (i hunt is in the present) and whe a verb is in present there is no modification on it. so my question is

why Nga kame futa oe t<iv>aron and not Nga kame futa oe taron, since "you see" and "i hunt" are both in the present.

Irayo :)

In this case it is probably a subjunctive.

The present tense is just unmarked for tense but the subjunctive is a mood that can apply in any tense and is always marked with <iv>.

Also, you're using the wrong to see, it should be tse'a.

For other uses of the subjunctive in Na'vi see this post.

I hope that helped.
