Kaltxí!
« on: April 13, 2013, 12:20:18 pm »
Hello! I'm interested in the project, I did the registration, but what is the next step? Is the project still going, or did it end? Maybe if there is an another project, if yes, could you give me a link, please?:) I want to learn the language, but i can't learn it without a teacher... The language is hard, and it's slow to get my writings corrected in my nation's group.

I hope you can help me! ;)

Hello, friend!
I must say that project is finished now, there are no real lessons. There are still some people who meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays and call it Ngaynume, however it is not real teaching, but discussion in Na'vi. Of course you can connect with us (every Tue, Thu on 21:00 {GMT+2}) on TeamSpeak (we use it for voice) and na.learnnavi.org (it is used for presentations and pictures). We can help even if you are beginner.
And of course you can put your question into beginner's section of this forum - they will be answered. IMHO it can be more effective than asking in your language subforum,as there is more activity. Just ask - only who asks receives answers :)

Do you think we should set real lessons again? I can talk about this with Xelloss. Practice sessions are good and fun, but lessons are necessary for those who are lagging behind *Tsmuktengan raises his hand  ;D*.

...I also think that this "registration" procedure should be thought of again.

Na'vi is such a great language.

Yes I do, but I don't know if there are other people who want to learn the language too. These projects are good, because you can learn the language faster, easier, and you can meet new friends. :) I think it's a good idea to start it again, but as I said, if there aren't 10-15 people who are active, It would be a bit boring. ( It's my opinion, I would be happy if you would start the project again :) )

Well, I can get people motivated again for this, not only on LN, but also possibly in ToS and AvatarForums possibly.

This time, I'll try to think sort out to help organizing all this in a better way than I did last time. I'll speak to the different people who can help out here and you'll know what goes on quickly. I would be glad to learn Na'vi as well, hoping that my future job will leave me a bit of time during the evening. If anyone is interested of learning, or helping to learn (a bit like an assistant), you can answer here meanwhile or later. ;)

Yeah, Seze pulled the plug on ProjectNgayNume.com I think.

Maybe just in time for Avatar 2 I will reboot this project in the way it originally was. :)

Katxì ma Yorsky!
As you can guess, Ngaynume is currently starving of sufficiently determined people, therefore full restart (with school-like clasrooms) is out of question, unfortunately.
But as others said, there are still some people regularly gathering on the Teamspeak in a timeframe of the former lessons, and you'll be welcome.
