great!from the creator himself!!quick question for you elylan, how did you obtain that  Neytiri Lover bar?
I see you found the thread http://forum.learnnavi.org/your-projects-other-resources/learnnavi-org-userbars!/

I right clicked on the bar I liked, selected Copy Image Location (Firefox), Copy Shortcut (IE - I think), went to my signature, and added [ img ] [ / img ] and pasted the url in the middle of those two tags. No spaces, i just put those in here so they  would show in the post.

I got the first one!!

I love this thing! (It really is interesting to see how Na'vi words END, not just what letters they begin with.)

2022 update: Working on the new astrology book. "How to read tarot" books are on Amazon, if you are into that sort of thing.
Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

This is awesome! Would it completely defy the purpose to have a version which includes a gloss with every word? Something like:

'angtsìkä,       hammerhead
flä,               whatever
ftxozä          whatever...etc.

I see this as a great learning aid.

Cheers mate.

I don't think it would defy the purpose but Taronyu's dictionary project will always be a lot more useful then mine could be... and given the rate he has to make changes, I don't think I could realistically achieve it.

I had a hard enough time keeping up with him before the rhyming dictionary launched, and you can see far I've fallen behind already. :D

Eight,

Thanks to you, our* parody of Old Mc Donald had a Farm, and Row Row Row Your Boat have been recorded (yes, actually sung--with our words--in Na'vi!) by Ftiafpi.

(You can hear them here--they are really funny.

The actual words are here (in 2 consecutive posts):

(*Prrton did such a great job of correcting the grammar of my song that I gave him full co-writing credits)

You are pretty amazing. I also have a few other dopey parodies I am working on. Your dictionary really helps.

You guys are a crazy cool. I missed that thread - brilliant.

Damn though, if people are going to actually use the dictionary for anything then I'd better update it. Lol.

I was wondering if you would mind if I either mentioned it, or included it in the print version (as backmatter) of the new activity book. This would give it greater exposure (more people seeing it).

I'd be flattered either way.

Now I'm really going to have to update it. Lol.

Kaltxì Palulukan!

Then it is official. I will tack it on as "fun backmatter" as an appendix to the "Silly Na'vi song ideas" section. This will help people write or parody their own songs. This is a great way to learn phrases. Even if thy just fool around with songs but never quite get there, they will absorb so much more vocab. Also seeing how words end is a unique way of learning more about the language. I learned by doing puzzles that words don't begin with g, but I also learned how many end with ng, and how few end with e, and other odd notes. Your dictionary really saves time and hassle.
