Yeah, I played with my little test forum at home, and I had fun to play with the CSS style file (that's a file that gives the forum its form and look).
I though, why not trying to use a FireFox addon like stylish, and play with the LN forum's style.

So, here it is what I got, the LN forum in black/dark:

LN aVawm :)

How to use?
  • for FireFox: install "stylish" addon.
    -> go to the "stylish" symbol and click at it
    -> choose "create style"
    -> then, go to "new style" and copy-past the CSS code from the newcss4.txt file (see attachment)
  • for Chrome: install "stylebot" addon.

    <22:14:33> "Tirea Aean": Open Stylebot, click Edit CSS, Paste your CSS code in there, REMOVE everything BEFORE html {...} and AFTER #ajax_in_progress {...} and then click Save.
    <22:15:25> "Tirea Aean": so no @moz-document { ... } and no @namespace url(...);. Just the raw CSS for Chrome Stylebot. Stylebot automatically sets the namespace and url to the current web page for you.

If you like to use LN in dark, feel free to use it. :)

Loving this theme!!

Not at all necessary, but I've condensed the CSS text file and organized it just a tiny bit. :)

There is a typo in your verion, on line 25 .nav, .nav:link, .nav:visitedk
that k should be removed. :)

I just checking out what you have changed. ;)

Dangit. I thought for SURE I had removed all those k{ sequences. 1s.

EDIT: updated

The changes are so tiny and nit, mostly. The next thing I wanted to do but wasn't sure if I should, is to turn text input areas into white text on black, just like everything else. DOUBLE EDIT: OR white text on that same background-color the quotes have

Tìtstewan

Ma Tirea, the text field of the quick reply is:
Code (html) Select
<textarea class="editor" cols="75" rows="7" style="width: 95%; height: 100px;" name="message" tabindex="1" onselect="storeCaret(this);" onclick="storeCaret(this);" onkeyup="storeCaret(this);" onchange="storeCaret(this);"></textarea>

So, add,
textarea.editor {
    color: #ffffff;
    background-color: #XXYYZZ;
}

:)
